I always come here no matter what time of year and order the chicken phở. It’s excellent, the flavor, the portion and it’s always $ 10. The service is quick, never have to wait to be served and it is always consistently delicious. I like to take friends here and highly recommend. I’ve tried their beef phở, vermicelli noodles and seafood soup… all very good but you have to order the chicken phở, it takes any cold or if you are just not feeling your best, it’s put me back in groove.

I brought my family from out of town since they wanted something different. the phở was good. however, the service was right down bad. the girl forgot my dish but then gave me my niece’s meal after realizing the mistake she was left without a plate. then the waitress didn’t replace her order so I had to remind her afterwards. ughhh. She never came back to check on us even once. I had to ask another person for my check. I hate to sound like a complainer but it was bad bad bad. luckily they liked the food. train your staff will you please?

This place is not your ordinary phở restaurant. Most of the menu is fantastic, especially their lobster. I’ve never had a preparation that tasted the same. It has great a smokey oily flavor with lots of complex spices. The meat’s texture is also different possibly do to it’s preparation. It has a more gummy, smooth mouthfeel. And the portions are huge. I definitely want to get this dish again before I leave the city!

We’ve been coming here for years. You can get large amounts of great food for very little money. The vegetarian fresh summer rolls and the vegetarian phở noodle soup are my favorites. All winter long I crave this soup.

This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant when I want to eat phở. It satisfies my craving and is close enough to drive to with a decent amount of street parking. I usually order phở but occasionally get the vermicelli or flat noodles. I have also tried the spring rolls, summer rolls, and shrimp toast for appetizers. The shrimp toast is made really fresh here! Overall, I’ve been satisfied with most of the dishes I’ve ordered. There aren’t too many Vietnamese restaurants in Allston/Brighton so I’m glad this one is good enough for me to keep going back to when I crave Vietnamese food.

i used to like this place back in 2009 when I lived in Allston. My craving for some hot seafood noodle soup made me come all the way here from the South End. I was disappointed. When the hostesses was very nice –the server was forgetful(flaged him down to get my tea 10 mins after ordering it).The hostess cleared our table and offered us desert menu and a few seconds later our server was about to drop the check without even offering desert or asking how everything was. Speaking of desert –that was actually the best part of our meal.(We had a caramel flan).Fresh spring rolls barely had any shrimp in it, so as my seafood noodle soup. Noodles and broth mostly. If you can not afford to put more seafood in your dishes –raise the prices, i don’t mind paying more, but I would like to get what I expect getting(like it used to be).or don’t call it a seafood soup. Dont trick your customers only because you are being cheap. Thats all.

The owner is super nice. Food is good. Wish they had the spring rolls like countryside phở does tho. The one with the red pork and crispy noodles inside. Other than that, good service and good food. Phở warm everyone’s heart. Don’t forget to get a Vietnamese iced coffee! * phở dac biet, caramelized catfish stew, bun bo hue!

Went here with a friend to grab a bite to eat on a Friday night. The whole Allston area is pretty crowded on the weekend, but we were able to be seated here right away. We started with an order of the teriyaki chicken – which was surprisingly small considering the price and didn’t have much flavor to it. It was cooked well, but wasn’t really what I was expecting. Thankfully, the main dishes were better. We had an order of the yellow noodles with chicken and the lemon grass chicken. The yellow noodles were good and had a good amount of chicken and veggies mixed in. However, the lemon grass chicken was the real winner as it had such great flavor and paired nicely with the rice. Overall, the dishes weren’t as huge as many other Unilocalers have been reporting, but we felt adequately fed with those three dishes. The service was a little bit spotty as it seemed that we had someone that was pretty new, but the entrees were decent.

Coming from the Vietnamese food mecca known as California, I was so glad to find a place that can satisfy my cravings and homesickness — especially now that it’s winter. A lot has been written about their phở so I will dedicate my review to the often overlooked, but in my opinion king of Vietnamese noodle soups: bun bo Hue(BBH). Perfectly salty and sour with a touch of sweet, Le’s BBH definitely hits the spot whenever I’m itching for some tastes from home. I especially like how much beef they include in their orders, since a lot of other places like to replace the meat they skimp on with noodles. But not at Le’s! The BBH is balanced with a 50⁄50 beef to noodle ratio(or even 60⁄40 if you’re lucky!) and the broth is nice and rich. One complaint I have is that the dish could be a little spicier, but it’s nothing a little side order of chili paste can’t fix. All in all, Le’s is the perfect place to cure any wintertime chilliness. Or, if you’re not feeling up for the trip to Allston, they deliver!

This is for the Allston location. Le’s been around for quite some time now so it’s not surprise that it’s a popular spot for vietnamese food. They don’t have a lot of dishes that I sometimes crave for. Dishes such as Bun Rieu(Crab/crab paste noodle soup) and Thit Kho(caramelized pork). I usually get the phở or the vermicelli with grilled pork. I’m not 100% sure but I believe the location in Dorchester has these along with other dishes. I was there once a long time ago and I remember seeing these there. Anyhow, I guess it’s not a bad place if you’re looking for a quick fix.

Definitely my new go to place for phở. They have so many options on their menu, and the waiter was very accommodating when we asked to make substitutions of leave things out. The phở is served with a plate of limes and sprouts, the cilantro comes already in the bowl which makes it extra flavorful. I always like to add jalapeño too, for an extra kick! Good prices, good service, good food!

Phở is phở, nothing amazing in my opinion. Got the phở special. Could have used more tripe and tendon– tendon is my favorite so I’ll def have to order extra on the side since they barely give you any. The starter platter that came with the spring rolls, summer rolls, grilled beef, shrimp toast and salad was a magnificent combination of Vietnamese appetizers to please your palate. The restaurant here is clean and has excellent service. Definitely good for business because we all know most small foreign establishments tend to neglect those factors.

Le’s is a solid neighborhood Vietnamese joint. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the service is friendly. I’ve done both takeout(ordered through Unilocal) and dine-in, all with good results. The gentleman who handed me my takeout today even gave me an apple after I threw some cash in the tip jar. Thanks! One of the things I appreciate most is that you can order the phở in different sizes. A small portion fills me up without having to waste any extra. Their grilled meat vermicelli is also a go-to. Le’s is fast, delicious, and never disappoints.

I used to always love Le’s until a recent incident. First off, let me rate the food. Pretty good simple Vietnamese food for a okay price. I love the phở and the noodle soups. But the customer service is why it’s getting 2 stars. i ordered online through the ordering option through Unilocal, waited 20 mins to pick my food up and they didn’t even know I ordered. So I waited another 20 mins. Recently I ordered chicken noodle soup and they packed it in a paper bag. When I went to open the container my entire bag was wet and it popped opened scalding me. I immediately called explaining that the bag wasn’t packed right and the man gave me an attitude and said I must have been carrying it wrong. –___– I used to love Le’s but the love isn’t mutual.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. Back when it was still Phở Pasteur. Throughout college, I stopped coming here because they lost their touch. But Le’s is back in the game! Great service and great food! I ordered the crispy summer rolls, fried chicken wings(new menu item), and the classic phở dac biet. Both appetizers were fried to perfection and delicious. The wings were crisp on the outside, and warm and juicy on the inside. For those who love phở, you can’t go wrong with the #14. Make sure you get the steak on the side! This will ensure that your steak doesn’t overcook.

This is definitely my new favorite phở restaurant after the whole debacle with Phở Pasteur in Chinatown. The staff is always friendly and the food is always consistent. I also love how spacious this restaurant is because there is never a wait. Parking is super convenient too as there are a lot of street parking, especially in front of the restaurant. I am in love with fried spring rolls and I love how they give three pieces, instead of two(like most restaurants). I also noticed that their menu is really extensive compared to other phở restaurants. I had their flat rice noodles the other night and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu because I am kind of sick of eating phở. Highly recommend coming to this particular location because there a lot of tea shops and dessert shops around here. It’s a win-win situation for everybody :)

This place is my beau’s and I second best to Phở Pasteur, although I prefer Le’s better. We are definitely frequent costumers. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive. I think they’ve become familiar with our usual orders. Meals are always good and is served relatively quick. Parking, in my experience is better in this area compared to Chinatown since people are usually in and out.

The staff at Le’s are all so smiley and friendly — they were definitely the highlight of my dinner and deserve a five-star rating. On the other hand, I wasn’t a big fan of the food because I found it quite flavourless. To be fair, I haven’t had a lot of Vietnamese food, so a «mild flavour» could just be a characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine. Aside from the taste of the food, I thought that the prices were very cheap given how generous the portion sizes were.

Hands down the best phở I’ve had in my life thus far. You should not call yourself a Bostonian unless you’ve dined here. A must-go if you’re visiting from out of town. I came here with my friend 5 years ago after a night of drinking at Boston College and instantly became appreciative of how a bowl of phở and plate of fried rice made the hangover virtually disappear. The same fragrant, savory taste that I experienced so long ago was confirmed with an order of the extra large beef noodle soup. It was not a blurry, too-good-to-be-true dream in food heaven after all! In fact, I was compelled to place another order of the same dish because I wouldn’t be able to find this kind of phở anywhere else, including Chicago and NYC. Truly a noteworthy cultural cuisine.

Awesome phở! The broth is so salty and delicious and the meatballs are perfect. I ordered meatballs and my boyfriend got some spicy one and we both devoured our meals. It was a delicious lunch. They do charge for refills on soda though so keep that in mind. service was slightly slow but it wasn’t bad. Go go go!

There are a few times during your life time when you have the urge to kill. And when the bad evil waiter man argues with you because as the person who is patronizing your business, I AMWRONG, and proceeds to spit in your face in front of your child, mother, wife, that time may come. Saying I had a bad experience here is like saying the Jewish people had a bad experience during the holocaust. You would think he would would have the decency of not arguing when they didn’t bring us chopsticks, napkins, water, after 5 minutes of waiting and asking him twice to bring them. But NO, he continues to rip me apart and say it was my fault, that the tables are divided by section. You know a restaurant is bad when 5 waiters are just hanging out around the bar and not helping out the guests. America, one of the few countries that enforce tipping, is also where I have had some of the worst services ever. Even the nice old ladies who push their Phở carts served in plastic green and red bowls around Saigon in the morning have better service . And nothing makes it worse than when you order 2 bowls of Xe Lua and they give you 1 lime. 2 basil stems and no pepper. You make me sick. For all you who read this, do yourself a favor, do Boston a favor, do market competition a favor and don’t patronize this place.

Favorite phở place. Was introduced to Les back in college and it was the first place I tried phở! The broth is so good… I’m always tempted to drink it all. The dishes always come out quick so come hungry. If you’re super hungry, #15. I usually order #14 and get either shrimp toast or summer rolls to split with friends. Staff are all really friendly and attentive. The restaurant could update some of the seating, but the food is so cheap it’s kind of okay.

3.57 Stars Le’s is a solid phở choice if you are in Allston. It isn’t a imperative destination but on a Sunday morning or other times when you can park on Brighton Ave. it’s worth stopping by. At this point I would say I like the food and atmosphere here more than the Harvard Sq. location. The big bowls are beyond my capacity, these are for the young and the hungry; you have been warned. I tend to stick the soups, the rice plates are lackluster in my opinion. I will admit I like the pork chop rice plate. The bun(noodle) dishes are good and that’s my second choice. The summer rolls, spring rolls, and crêpe are just ok. The room is wide open seating for large parties at the circular and booths that that can fit four or maybe 5. There are smaller round table for one or two persons. The bar is not for sitting. * flat noodles with your fav protein can’t go wrong * beef with watercress * quail is yummy * vermicelli + grilled [insert your fav meat] * Viet 33 Export sold here * parking can be impossible
