Had dinner at Sabor do Brasil on the 30th of September 2015. When I entered the eatery, the first thing I noticed was the lack of a menu — instead, they had a spread of dishes that customers could help themselves to at $ 6.99/lb. I heaped a ton of pork on my rice and beans and ordered steak from the kitchen as well. Certain that I had enough food to last me the night, I had my plate weighed… and the bill came to under $ 12. The goodness didn’t end there: not only was the food hearty and affordable, it tasted great as well. I particularly enjoyed the steak — it was juicy and tender. I would highly recommend Sabor do Brasil for good, honest and hearty fare at reasonable prices. As other reviewers have said, this is not a fine dining establishment, but it certainly is fine by me.

as far as I can tell they have one format and different sub ins: grilled meat with rice, beans, salad or vegetable and French fries or fried yucca or plantains. A good Brazilian restaurant makes excellent rice and beans. Their rice is excellent, their beans not so much. But everything else was on point. It’s not fine dining but it’s very good, I recommend it for a big meat platter of delicious food. Try the Brazilian potato salad as your salad option. No prices which is another reason 1 star off. But we paid $ 11.50 which was fair.

Good food! There wasn’t really a menu, so choices are limited to what the chef is making that day, but it’s all good. Our dinner was chicken, pork, or steak with rice, potato salad, french fries, fried egg, salsa, and fried plantains. Plantains were especially well prepared. The place may not look so pretty but the food is great and is priced cheap.

Awesome little mom-and-pop Brazilian joint serving typical home-made Brazilian dishes like prato-do-dia, coxinha, yucca soup, etc. Delicious authentic Brazilian food(huge portions, too) outside of Framingham or Everett! The owner is also very nice and friendly. Try their Prato-do-dia(or plate of the day)!

Tried their food for the first time today. Seats about ten people and they offer take out and delivery. I ordered the plate of the day with steak, and everything came out good. Plate comes with rice, fries, sweet plantains, salad, beans and your choice of meat(I think steak, chicken, or fish). I was going to get salpicao which is a Brazilian potato salad but they didn’t have any today. I recommend this place to give it a try!

look, I’m going to admit it up front; I’m not from Brasil. But my mother grew up there, and thanks to her and family friends, I grew up on feijoada– not rice and beans, but proper feijoada with offal and pig sausage and farofa. So I admit, I’m picky as all hell when it comes to what people pass off as feijoada. Café de Brasil never did measure up for me, and don’t get me started on Fogo or Midwest. But Sabor’s feijoada, with complimentary farofa(toasted with butter and bacon), is fantastic. Thick, well cooked beans and pork bits(and bones still in, watch out!), and heavy, well cooked rice. I may not get back to Sao Paulo for another 10 years, but Sabor’s gona a long way to make me happy.
