I had an office visit in july 2014. Simple tetanus shot. Paid cash for the visit told the girl do not file with my insurance because they will not pay anyway and i am not worried about my deductible. The office filed anyway billed me 8 months later for $ 13.88. I had the bill less than 30 days was busy with tax time. The collection lady from alma family practice called and ask me when could they expect payment. I was shocked. I like dr strom but their billing department is ridicoulous. I had already mailed the $ 13.88 i guess she did not bother to check the mail. If they needed the money that bad maybe i should have delivered it in person.
