For the last week almost, I’ve been enjoying meals from Adaire. Delivered to me at the hotels where I’ve been staying(they also deliver to homes and offices, do catering, cooking classes and more), they customize the meals to suit your needs and tastes. You can check out menu samples on their website — or email questions/requests for specific dietary info etc to . Being at the first hotel where they delivered, I found the meals stocked in my fridge. At the current one, I got a call from the front desk when they arrived. Basically, you specify where and when you want delivery and if, like me, you’re getting them by the week-load, they bring them all at once and as each meal is shrink-wrapped; they will keep in the fridge up to six days. Of course, you can also freeze them if you decide you want to have certain ones right away and others some days later. The meals come in pairs so if you order turkey meatball spaghetti, for example, you get two of those, and so on. With the meal delivery option, you give them a list of your«yes,» «sometimes,» and«never» foods and they prepare your meals accordingly. My first order, which was for a week’s worth of meals that included breakfast, lunch and dinner, had a few snags(ie, it was supposed to be for a week and I got two fish dishes — one of my «sometimes» picks” so that was four fish dishes). Some of my favorite dishes: the aforementioned turkey meatball spaghetti(very good and HUGE with eight meatballs!), the turkey sausage and hashbrown breakfast, the grilled chicken over mixed greens or with roasted veggies(usually zucchini, squash, red onion, and the chicken breast is huge). They have everything from Shepherd’s Pie to turkey chili con carne and grilled salmon as an entrée or on a salad and a stuffed white fish with asparagus. Some dishes are better and more flavorful than others, though you can choose what spices and seasonings you want so along with your ingredient preferences that will influence what they deliver to you. Pretty good service if you need meal delivery for a few days or weeks. About to go try the potato croquette with turkey sausage now!
