SUMMEREDITION! Many of the items mentioned in the previous update are no longer available because they were only promotional and therefore temporary. If you snooze, you lose! Gone are the wonderful flatbreads, the incredible oatmeal cranberry cookies and even their delicious veggie bean burgers. I am now enjoying their delicious single Greek yogurts which are very good. If you like the highly processed, super sweet varieties like Dannon and Yoplait, you won’t like these. They are rich and very lightly sweetened. I especially love the pineapple, tropical and mixed fruit varieties. What is that thing on the end of the wing? It’s called a tip Honey. If you frequently eat your wings from the local«wing joints» your kids will not recognize a real intact chicken wing. I call these«grown folk wings» and they are sold at Aldi. Restaurant wings are actually wing pieces that have been separated and are double in price. Real wings have three parts, the drum, flat and tip and can be easily folded into a neat little triangle. Aldi’s wings are always big, fresh and delicious just like their ribs. They are a holiday favorite and I only purchase them from Aldi’s so that I am assured of the quality. I really appreciate the staff here because they provide great customer service. I ended up waiting until the day before Memorial Day to purchase ribs and wings and of course they were out. Chris told me that if I came in the next morning, he would have more for me to purchase. I arrived at the store at 9:04 on Memorial Day to purchase my ribs and wings as promised. Awesome! STORYTIME! I’m in the store a few weeks ago and i have cleared the check-out area when this man approaches from the side,(not the main aisle like everyone else). He said that he wanted to return something, but the cashier did not believe him because she saw him enter the store without the specific items in his hand. Now, I am keenly aware of what is going on because no other employees are on the floor, she is small in stature and this guy,(although in his sixties), was fairly tall. As she continued to appropriately question him, he became verbally aggressive, even throwing out racial insults. She leaves her station to verify the quantity of items left on the shelf. As she did this, he ran out of the store. BUSTED! I really appreciated her professionalism in the face of this clown just really being rude and disgusting in his behavior. If you even think about stealing from this store, think again because these people know their inventory. They have a very small crew and the store is relatively small so they know what’s on the shelf and what is not on the shelf. I am not a bystander, I will be the one that trips you as you try to run out of the store with merchandise or I will take your tag number and pass it along to the police. SO, THINKAGAIN! Don’t worry Aldi, I’ve got you!

Was introduced to Aldi’s when I was in Chicago. Great place to get good produce and grocery at some very good price. Aldi offers quality of stores like Publix /Target /Kroger at Walmart prices!

Make sure you bring a quarter if you want a grocery cart. You’ll also want to bring your own grocery bags, or be prepared to buy your own there. I like the prices and that this location is clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I wish they had a better selection of fruits and veggies and meats, but overall, it’s a great place to shop and save some serious money on your weekly groceries.

Bright, clean store with good prices on things like cornish hens, mixed lettuces, steaks, eggs and cheeses. A handful of organic products can be had and will buy boxes of the couscous Aldi carries. This Aldi is set up backwards than the others that I’ve shopped it’s not an issue just as minor detail. Check out the weekly specials and word of advice if you see it and think you may want it buy it now cause it may not be there later.

I had heard of Aldi markets long before I ever entered one. Having gone to the new Alpharetta/Johns Creek location a few times, I can safely conclude that there isn’t much to get excited about unless cheap is your priority over quality. I took the time to inspect the ingredient labels on the products I was most interested in purchasing. Most all of them contained soybean and/or cottonseed oils, hydrogenated fats, corn syrup, preservatives and other undesirable additives. Adding to the disadvantages, Aldi only accepts cash and debit cards. The store is only open until 8:00pm M-S and 7:00pm on Sundays. After a careful perusal, I am sorry to say that by the time I got to the checkout counter there may have been two or three items that were worth purchasing for reasons beyond an enticing price tag. The take and bake 4 cheese pizza was one and the no sugar added 100% fruit juices are another. I describe an Aldi market as a poor man’s Trader Joe’s.
