Worse eggplant parm I ever tasted in my many years in eating in Italian restaurants. It looked and tasted like it had been recooked and not just reheated. It had an appearance of two pieces of burnt toast with a small piece of eggplant in the middle. Second and last time I will eat in this establishment, confirmed my first experience. Manager came by but she just made lite of the situation saying the cook was new.

5 stars! Entrees are all superb! The salads are light and refreshing! The tomato soup is one of the highlights of the menu. Every time we go here I make sure to get a cup of soup. The desserts are phenomenal! The calzones are massive!

The desserts are the best thing about this restaurant. My husband had the Four Cheese Ravioli and liked it. I had the lasagna and did not like it at all, it was mostly pasta with cheese on top and very little flavor. My Cosmo was red not pink and tasted as though there was no vodka even though I was charged for Grey Goose. I’ll come back for take out desserts but not dinner!

I have enjoyed the desserts from Alpine on many different occasions. Though I do no live close anymore, I try to stop in when I am in the area. There are many different desserts you are able to get to go(just look at all the pictures), not to mention the pizza to go. I had a cake from here as my wedding cake they are so delicious. They have a restaurant that serves Italian food.

Yesssssssssssssssss to just about everything here. The bakery alone is worth blowing your diet over. They are serving rich decadent desserts in a wide range of flavors. All of their peanut butter and cheesecake desserts are delicious. They have a lot to offer! Now the other part to this story is the main restaurant. We ate so much! I really enjoyed my stromboli and my goat cheese beet salad. As I gazed around at the other dishes coming out everything looked on point. This place is somewhat expensive but worth it.

The best gluten free coconut macaroons. GF desserts are typically quite bad. These are amazing!

This place is absolutely amazing. My first visit here was solely to the bakery… and it was worth it. I took home a Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Bar and savored every single bite it. The cheesecake filling had just the right blend of peanut butter, chocolate, and cream cheese and it is everything I’ve ever wanted. The crust tasted like crushed, buttered, and baked Nutter Butter cookies! I loved it! On my second visit, I actually sat down and had dinner… I actually went to work out at the gym next door so that I could eat all I wanted guilt free… and frankly, after tasting this meal, I wouldn’t have had any guilt anyway. I started my meal with a scallop appetizer. They were large perfectly cooked scallops on top of a delicious pancetta with a lovely and light green salad in between. The scallops and pancetta melted in my mouth and the salad was so light and complemented the scallops and pancetta perfectly. That was only the start. My entrée was the Baked Ziti. It was delicious. It was slightly oily, but that’s what the bread is for… am I right?! The sausage in the dish was SO good! I need to just order a dish of that with a side of pasta. Additionally, the service was spot on. There was never an empty glass of empty plate… With all that said… I will definitely be back here… right after I go to the gym and get some cardio in.

My husband and I have been dining at Alpine since it opened. We found ourselves tired & lazy on a Friday night and decided to try delivery from Alpine. We ordered 1 insalata bleu salad and 1 chicken scaloppini meal. The portions were very generous and more than enough for us to share. Salad was very fresh with plenty of blue cheese. Chicken very tasty with lots of artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and hint of lemon in the sauce. Delivery was prompt and the quality of food was every bit as good as dining at restaurant. We are truly excited to add another delivery option to our small list of «order in» restaurants.

Been here many times — best bakery in Atlanta! Everything we’ve tried from the bakery has been great. They have this one cake with raspberries that is amazing. Light but very flavorful. Anything with chocolate is good — so we’ve ate our way through most of that selection as well. All great. Then on to the key lime desserts, peanut butter bars,…on and on.

I’ve written a bad review about this place before but somehow they just keep disappearing. First of all my last complaint was about the food being too expensive and not being very flavorful. Now my complaint is a little more serious. My mom and I ordered take out from here and got sick from it. I don’t know if it was the shrimp that had been sitting out or the milk the used was stale or what but it was an AWFUL experience. Definitely not worth $ 30. Don’t come here guys!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and it exceeded my expectations! We went here for our 10th Anniversary last night(4⁄22) and the food was amazing! We started with the Italian rice balls and crab/avocado stack. Both were yummy! The crab was juicy and fresh! My husband devoured his short rib ravioli(I had a bite and words can’t describe how good it was)! I also really enjoyed my large portion of chicken scaloppine. The flavors were well-balanced and I had enough for another meal! We ended the night with a delicious tiramisu parfait and one of the best lattes I ever had! My only wish is they would have done a little more since it was our anniversary! Will definitely go back!

My review for this is solely on the desserts here, because I’ve never actually had the food. I wish that they had a dining area just for people who want a quick slice of cheesecake. Very delicious and decadent deserts here and all very affordable. I came with my family of 6 here last week and we ordered around 4 different deserts and our bill only came out to around $ 30! Also since we were leaving right around 9 and they close at 9, they had a huge stack of free bread loaves that people could take home. Free is free and good cheesecake is good cheesecake.

I’ve always gotten cake from here. Specifically, the black and white cake. It’s a great price for how big the cake is. It’s not a wide cake, it’s a very very tall cake. The layers of chocolate cake are so moist and a good level between fluffy and dense. It keeps its shape and structure without being dense. However, it’s the icing and cream that I dream of. You look at this behemoth of a cake and think, this must be heavy and built like cement. But you take one scoop of that fluffy icing and it just melts in your mouth. I’m not sure what kind of butter cream they are using, but it holds like scaffolding, but falls at the lightest pressure of your tongue. Pure sorcery. I stopped by here with some friends after eating down the road, since we don’t make our way up here too often. I got a sfogliatelle, cannoli, and a cream puff. The first two I wasn’t impressed with, though they were alright. The cream puff was so good, I should’ve spent my money on more of those instead. The prices are very reasonable, and don’t threaten to break my bank account. Be prepared to feel a little intimidated by the large glass cases of desserts and pastries. It takes time to go through it all and figure out where you want to spend your cash. The workers behind the counter are very attentive, and they’re ready to take your order as soon as you can decide what you want.

On our last night visiting friends in Georgia we were taken here to eat. Located in a small strip mall I was skeptical at first but once inside I was amazed. Alpine bakery and trattoria is pretty awesome, as soon as you walk in there is a man playing a piano and you see the display cases filled the most amazing cookies, cakes, cupcakes you name it they have it! We placed our name for four people and went to look at our desserts. One thing that immediately stood out to me was my absolute favorite cookie pignoli cookie! Our table was ready after 15 mins and we were seated. My friends ordered drinks and I got a diet Coke. We picked two appetizers to start: Sicilian arancini with Italian sausage and deep fried and the mussles and bay scallops marinara served with garlic toast points. The arancinis were crispy on the outside and warm and cheesey sausage rissoto in the middle with marinara to dip. AMAZING! The mussles and scallops didn’t come in a marinara sauce as described but in a white wine butter sauce that made me very happy. Plump mussles and sweet scallops with the bread to dip you can’t go wrong. The only dissapointment in our meal was how long it took for our food to come out. About 30 mins between taking our appetizers away. For our main course I ordered the shrimp scampi, my boyfriend the veal parm, Nicole got the chicken picatta and husband got the baked ziti. My scampi had large shrimp and to my surprise lump crab meat and angel hair pasta. It was so fresh and delicious and the seafood was on point! Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. We wrapped up our leftovers and as they waited for the bill I went over to the bakery selection and grabbed myself a pound of the pignoli cookies and a slice of dark chocolate raspberry cake for the girls. The pignoli cookies were the best I have ever had and packed with pignoli nuts. The tecture was the perfect chew and crunch from the nuts. If I’m ever back in Georgia I’m making it a point to come here and eat! Or pick up come cookies!

I have some friends that think this is the best place in town. I am not one of them. I think the food is okay, clams, pasta, parm etc($$$$). Pizza is good, but I can think of several places I like better. When you walk in you see all these great desserts, cakes, pies, cupcakes etc. The problems is all their desserts are refrigerated. So the cakes and pies don’t taste fresh. They taste like they have been sitting in the ice box for a few days. The desserts look great but they don’t taste great. Service has always been very good here.

Good food, reasonable prices and those desserts! Service is food too. A really nice atmosphere great for a special occasion or just a casual dinner or lunch. Half the price of my rip off lunch from Houston’s buckhead the previous day and 10 times better.

Their blueberry bars are to die for. One lasts me four days. It’s so rich and a few bites is more than filling. Their entrees are decent but it’s their desserts they are so known for.

Can i give it a 0 rating ? Horrendous service at the restaurant. The bakery by itself was fine, the person was sweet and helpful. The problem was with the waiter service for the restaurant. I’d go as far as to say that it seemed. racist ?? I say this because the waiter was rude, unhelpful and downright mocking. And we had come here twice, just because i didn’t want to form an opinion on a single visit. This happened both times. Not coming back ever, Nope! Much better options out there.

We wanted dessert. This is the place we found on Unilocal.I was not disappointed! I did not eat the food here so I cannot comment on that, but the dessert was pretty fantastic. We had the«Million Dollar» cake and the oreo cheesecake. Wow, both were enormous. You should really think about sharing. I enjoyed the Oreo Cheesecake better but they were both good. We ended up taking both dessert leftovers home and had them for breakfast the next AM.(Don’t judge me, I was on vacation.)

I was very hesitant about coming to this place for dinner with the team. However, this place actually blew my mind away. Maybe because I had low expectation. Food: I had the sea scallops for dinner. The team ordered beef bruschetta, calamari, and mozzerella sticks. The beef bruschetta was done with a twist where they seasoned the tomatoes with the raw beef. It was a handful of beef bruschetta per slice of bread. I am glad that they made it a decent portion and not being stingy about it. The seared scallops was done okay. Some were over cooked, some were perfectly cooked. Overall, the dish was not too bad. Furthermore, their dessert killed it ! every single dessert you can think of, they have it. I can see why this place is a very successful bakery too. I had the amazing tiramisu parfait. It was not too sweet and not bland. I do wish it was lighter and had less cake in it. But still amazing! 4⁄5 Service: Great service. The waiter knew his stuff and provided inside with great recommendation. He paid attention to details and he came back to check on us and refill our waters. 4.5÷5 Atmosphere: It is very unique. They try to make the restaurant like a big cozy cabin/house. I like the theme and style. It is a decent size place where it fit about 60 — 70 people. The whole place smelled like bakery, which I thought it was a plus! 4⁄5 Overall, it did super pass my expectation. I might come back here just for the dessert alone. :-)
