Great company of audio installers with a customer is #1 priority attitude. Knowledgable about working with high end cars as well as middle of the road. Will bend over backwards to make sure everything is exactly as it should be and sound quality and workmanship is top priority, don’t pass this local gem up if you strive for perfection while getting a great price.
Local owners, with many years of knowledge in the business. You will not be underwhelmed or unsatisfied.
If you want your run of the mill type of place who does the same thing on all cars and doesn’t think outside of the box, this isn’t the place for you.
As for tinting they use the top of the line quality tint that you won’t find elsewhere. I can’t see myself ever going anywhere else.

I’ve been very happy with Zach and the entire crew at Benchmark Soundworks. They have installed a stereo in two of my cars and did an excellent job. Highly recommend!

tl;dr: We had some initial difficulty but they followed up and have been very eager to make things right. I wish it it had worked from the beginning but anyone can have an off day and I’m impressed with their efforts to make me happy. Interacting with mega-​corps can make you jaded about the customer service you’re going to get but some small businesses out there are still providing premium experiences.
Feb 2015: Benchmark Soundworks installed a bluetooth add-​on in my daughter’s car that will work with every phone except hers. The phone is an HTC One so not an uncommon phone and it works fine with two other car bluetooth systems (those are factory though).
The CD player in her car also «just happened» to break when they worked on it and of course they said it’s an unfortunate coincidence. Yeah, we’re not done yet.
And we just discovered that there’s a piece of chrome missing from the gear shift leaving a half-​inch of ugly white plastic exposed.
Others seem to have better experiences so maybe just bad luck, but it hasn’t been a positive experience for me.
Apr 2015: After a long lull (I don’t drive the car and my daughter wasn’t nagging me) I got a follow-​up call from Benchmark. Just the week before my daughter had gotten a new phone which also had issues with the iSimple bluetooth add-​on that had been installed. After a brief chat, they’ve been very friendly throughout, they offered to swap the iSimple out for a different system. I was able to take the car in this week and the new one, from USA Spec, is working fine so far. They were also able to get the stuck CDs out though the system still claims there are CDs inside so it’s non-​functional. The plastic piece on the gear shift isn’t quite right but they got it to the point where it’s not really noticeable. They’ve also offered to swap the CD player for a single-​disk unit that would include the bluetooth as well as adding an aux jack. It’s slightly more expensive but they’d credit the full cost of the current unit.
Overall, I’m very happy with the way they’ve handled this and I’ll call them the next time I have car audio needs.

Top notch place. I trust them to work on my BMW M5 and my Jaguar F-​Type R. They are careful, meticulous, do clean work and are fairly priced.
What I liked:
1) Owners/​partners are present. With some shops you only interact with employees and you can tell that there isn’t a level of ownership/​commitment with the people you talk to. I experienced this in the past at Cartunes. At this place the guys you deal with are the owners — or at least they act like the owners (I’m not sure if they are equity holders) but they take ownership of the experience, they manage the technicians closely, and they are ensure everything is done perfectly.
2) Show real care. These guys are careful with vehicles. You can tell they take the effort not to scratch or damage anything.
3) Clean work. The finish and installation quality is excellent.
4) Expertise. They know what they are doing. I had laser/​radar system installed and they clearly knew how to do it right (I know this stuff well so I quizzed them and they passed).
5) Pricing is okay. Not cheap — but fair for good work.
What could be better:
1) Responsiveness to email.
2) It a bit of a hike from Atlanta.

These guys are fantastic. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I went to have my car windows tinted. Quick. Helpful. Friendly. Great facility. Top notch all the way around. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere. This is the place to go.

I’ve been to Benchmark on a number of occasions to get work done on my vehicles. The staff, and installer Mark are fantastic. They are not pushy and they are very concerned about the happiness of the client. I’ve taken a number of challenging installs to them and they have patiently worked through them. I highly recommend!
