I love this establishment. Sure it looks a little rough outside and inside, but the selection of wine and champagne is on point. The man who I can only assume owns the store is an absolute pleasure and has the best recommendations. I always make a stop when I am in the area just to see what he recommends next. Needless to say, I have never been disappointed.

As a business owner and a retired professional drinker, there’s not much more that I appreciate in a business than one that stocks it’s shelves for the locals. This place is the only place that I buy from when I’m home. The prices are lower than the area’s and the selection is diverse but not overwhelming. If you have a drink that you like but they don’t stick it, just ask. The owner will stock it just for you– even if you’ve only let him once. You can’t beat that.

Odd… I drive past this shop everyday but have never really been called to go in. This is very odd because of the fact that, after all, it is a liquor store. From the road it seems like a tired shop. Signage and exterior seem a little dated. When I did have the urge to do shots lately, I gave beverage depot their shot. I discovered that sometimes you can indeed judge a book by its cover. The inside was as uninspiring as the outside. Vodka selection was limited. Tequila and Rum selections poor. Prices were a buck or two higher than other shops. They did have a good selection of bourbons with some unique labels. I didn’t shop for beer or wine, so maybe this is where they shine. They also had a cigar humidor, which I also didn’t get a chance to check out, I think if the environment was sharper I might have spent more time checking out the rest of the inventory, but nothing really made me want to stay. I left this liquor store without making a purchase, something I don’t think I have ever done before. Odd…
