This is not the dentist office i was reviewing. I have edited this to reflect their current rating before my review was posted. I have not done business with this loaction, but it unfortunately was what my not so smart phone posted to. I was looking for coast dental on haynes bridge. I apologize for the 5 minutes this old review was posted.

Coast Dental = pain and high expense. The major work done included a healthy tooth being ground to fit in a crown for a bridge that was painful during and for a significant duration afterwards. Beeper to contact dentist didn’t work, and leaving message was responded to 2 days later. Cost was huge, and attempts were made to add more to the agreed on total cost. Area of work done remains sensitive months after. Teeth cleaning had extra costs attached, and bill was prepared before arrival — so this was refused. The place may have pleasant people, but they mine patients for their profit, and have little consideration for the patient’s health, pain maintenance, or financial limitations. This place is the worst, I regret going there, and I’ll be paying for several months to come. It deserves ½ a star or less.

I am very critical when reviewing companies, but I must tell you that the whole staff is extremely personable, and professional. Dr. Kabani and all the staff that works with her are genuinely kind and caring people. Coastal Dental is really gentle, and they ask during any procedure if you feel any pain. I previously went to Milton Family Dental Care and the dental assistant was rough on my mouth, and Dr. Kemp was rude to me, probably because of my age. Coastal Dental in Alpharetta greets you with a smile when you walk in, and they make you feel the same way through the whole experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Let’s face it, nobody likes going to the dentist. It’s basically a given that you’re going to a place to get fussed at for not flossing and brushing correctly. Sometimes I feel like I could brush and floss twice a day, and they’d still find something to scold me for. Coast Dental is okay, but I have a hard time rating and reviewing them, and I’ll tell you why. Every time I go they seem to have a completely new staff! Maybe it’s because they renovated the building, and they’re still settling in? I don’t know what it is, but I kid you not– I’ve had completely different receptionists, hygienist, and even a new dentist every time I go in. So, maybe I should rate each visit? My initial one was fine. There was a period of my life in which I didn’t go to the dentist for years.(I know that’s bad, but you gotta do what you gotta do when you don’t have insurance). The dentist was really nice, and actually didn’t make me feel terrible for not taking care of my teeth like I should. She said I actually looked pretty good for not having been in so long. My second visit was a little odd. My hygienist was a little rough, and did make me feel like I was being scolded for not flossing, etc. I was talking with my hygienist about how I need my wisdom teeth out still, and he proceeded to tell me he could just take them out himself. I dunno, that was odd to me. I guess because it sounded like he was casually offering, rather than making it seem like it was a service they offered. My most recent visit was very nice. The hygienist this time was very gentle, and caring and listened to my concerns, and was careful about putting extra pressure on sensitive areas. And the new dentist that came to look everything over when she was finished also seemed really sweet and gentle as well. Again, I have a hard time rating them because it changes so much. I feel like a dentist is someone you want to get to know and build a relationship with. If I can’t do that, then I”m not sure I will trust someone to pull out my teeth, or perform other major dental work. But, I really liked the staff on my most recent visit, so hopefully they’ll be there for a while!
