Exhale Avalon

LOVE Exhale! I am quite the barre hopper, and the core fusion barre classes are my favorite in Atlanta and metro Atlanta. I’ve taken classes with Holly and Kristen — both are encouraging and attentive to correcting students’ form. The studio itself is beautiful, and the Exhale products in the bathrooms are delightful!
Would love if the Avalon location got a full spa like Midtown! Keep up the great work, Exhale Avalon!

Seriously the best place! I have been doing barre for three years and have tried many barre studios and this is by far the best in town; Holly and Kristen are amazing and challenging.

I am a ClassPass addict (93 classes in 4 months) so I have been to my share of barre classes. That being said, Holly blew me away. She had an amazing energy level and managed to engage the entire class throughout the workout. I will be back!
The vibe of the entire gym was great. The front desk was friendly and informative, and I really felt welcomed.

I love Exhale-​Avalon. Holly, Kristin, Tina, Jesse and Malaika are wonderful. They make everyone feel like family. The barre, boot camp and yoga classes have changed my body and have made me overall healthier.

I visited Exhale while visiting the area. I really wish that I lived in the area so that I could go on a regular basis! All of the staff was incredibly nice and the facilities were fantastic. I appreciated that it had a large shower/​getting ready area, something that other barre studios I’ve visited lacked. They have a great selection of cute apparel for sale in the lobby and lockers for your stuff instead of just cubbies. The class itself was fabulous. The instructor was encouraging and upbeat. I liked that it offered a great challenge for both the girls that came to the studio with me (trying barre for the first time and exercise casually) and me (gym rat who attends barre frequently in my home city). Thus, I would say that whether you work out all the time or its your first time to the gym in awhile, you can expect a great work out at exhale. I’m just sorry I had to go home before I could try all of their other types of classes! I’ll be sure to visit next time I’m in town!

I visit my sister in Milton about twice a year, and always was looking for a solid yoga studio much closer than driving 30 – 45 minutes each way. I have found my solid yoga studio, Exhale Avalon! I find the yoga to be very challenging, so this is a level 1.5÷2.0. The teachers are very positive and provide hands on assistance to get your alignment better even if it just incrementally. I like how they incorporate unusual items during the yoga practice like balls or thick straps, and there is an inspirational reading at the end to remind me about an important life lesson. The space is very modern, well designed, and it is clean. They provide individual lockers and have an extremely large bathroom and shower area. They provide hand towels for yoga or bath towels. The yoga room is not heated as the temperature has always been in the low 70’s. Even though the room was cooler, I still managed to sweat enough to use two hand towels! Their style of yoga provides a physical workout in a wonderful environment. Also, the staff is super friendly. I will definitely be going back each time I am visiting from out of town!

Exhale Avalon is far more than a barre/​yoga studio, it is a frame of mind, an experience that I take with me each time I walk out the Exhale doors and back into the world. The time I spend in the studio transforms my body and soul as the instructors and staff are incredibly supportive and knowledgable. I have made friendships at Exhale Avalon that span far beyond the mat or barre. Each time I have the good fortune of attending class, I feel stronger, healthier and part of the Exhale Avalon family.

Where do I begin? Instructors that care? Check! A program that tests every part of your mind/​body experience? Check! A light, airy, clean space that doesn’t feel like a puppy mill? Check! It is an incredibly gorgeous studio that screams «zen» the minute you enter. But don’t let the beautiful space fool you! The instructors at Exhale Avalon know their craft. It has been an incredible journey for me. They know exactly what their clients need and deliver. There are no instructors there that «wing it». They are professionals who care about the family they are building with their clientele. They will push you to change your body while respecting your individual fitness level. Most important to me… it never ever becomes routine. Boredom is not part of the Exhale Avalon package. I have truly found a new home!!!

I have taken barre all over the country and I can honestly say exhale is the best by far! I’m so glad they came to Alpharetta! The studio is beautiful and the classes are challenging and fun! I know I’m going to get a great workout whether I’m in yoga or barre, and the staff is so friendly and helpful! I would recommend this studio to everyone! I have introduced many friends to Core Fusion! It’s the BEST!

The Exhale facility is beautiful, serene and clean. The instructors and staff are upbeat and personable. Holly is outstanding! I initially signed up with her for my membership and she was so thorough and knowledgable. Her classes are FUN and are also an incredible workout. She is such an asset to Exhale. I highly recommend trying Exhale at Avalon for a truly unique and rewarding experience.

Why did Exhale open here with only the workout classes but no spa? Sigh. The only thing Avalon is really missing is a nice spa. I’ve taken a few classes since Exhale opened. The space is tiny, but classes were good… I especially like Exhale Chill on Saturdays (just wish it was offered at an earlier time or during the week). For the price, I don’t think I should have to clean my own mat.

It should say something when the instructor agrees that the Midtown location is impossible to find.
I’m back in Roswell for a few weeks and decided to check out Exhale’s new location. They gain a star for being about 1000 times easier to find. Avalon is super simple to navigate. They gain another star for class size. There were only 6 people total. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a new location or it was a 6a class or some combination of both. Regardless, it was a vastly different experience than the Midtown location. Again, I didn’t get to check out the locker rooms, but I at least got a peek in one this time.
I took the same (or a similar) barre class. I had to leave before class was over to get to work on time, but I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth. This time I didn’t feel like I was going to kick the girl next to me while we were working at the actual barre. The instructor was very accommodating with everyone working at their own pace. I’ve been in some classes where you can be bullied into trying more complex poses or moves when you aren’t ready for them. Several of us had to shake some things out and she didn’t even bat an eye.
If I find myself in the neighborhood on a weekday at 6a, with my ClassPass limit not over, I’ll be back.

So glad that Exhale Avalon is open! Exhale is more than a just a regular gym, with regular classes. I love all the classes that exhale offers. You can’t find classes like these anywhere else. I love all the staff and instructors, they are so friendly and enthusiastic. Holly and Kristin are so wonderful, they have been so helpful and encouraging! I can honestly say I’m addicted to exhale, I try to go everyday, even twice a day sometimes because I love it so much! I already feel stronger and more lean! I highly recommend Exhale Avalon!
