Meh. Pricey for what you get. Plastic utensils me paper plates serving average food at a premium price. $ 10 Reuben with probably 5 oz of meat and a greasy non-stick sprayed loaf of store bought bread = not a winner. Publix makes a better sandwich and is nicer and faster to boot.

Good food, nice people, but getting too pricey now. Sandwich and a drink is now over $ 12. I use to come here once a week, now it is once a month, but after today, maybe once every 6 months. Too many other places around with more reasonable prices for lunch. They do have half orders for a $ 1-$ 1.50 less, but who wants to pay 10% less for 50% less food?!?

They catered our holiday dessert party at our school… I’m still dreaming about that chocolate silk pie. I think I’ve told my whole family about it when I got home. It was to die for.

Met a friend here today for lunch, had been hearing a lot of good things about it. I had the special, tuna walnut salad sandwich with red potatoes. The sandwich was delicious, potatoes were just ok. My friend had the triple mushroom soup and half a Cuban, she enjoyed hers. It was good but to me, just a little pricey compared to most sandwich places, my special with drink was over $ 12.00.

I still love it. Coming back to Alpharetta is a delectable treat for me because my beloved chicken pear walnut salad awaits me. They have a wonderful catering menu and staff, and I have experienced their catering many many times. They make lovely caprese skewers, the most amazing mini beef wellingtons, delicious buffalo chicken dip, et cetera. I had my college graduation party catered and all my friends fell in love with the food too. To this day, one friend is a proud patron of the buffalo chicken dip. Their catering staff is wonderful, as we had an entire party prepared, set up, and cleaned up by a lovely woman. This food is seriously gourmet, and once you try it, I guarantee you’ll be hooked.

Have eaten there a couple of times and both the club and the rueben were excellent. Sides are good too. Don’t forget to try the desserts.

Clearly, Sadie loves food. And her staff. And her customers. Sadie is one of the owners of Fancy Pantry Café, and this was such a weird and wonderful eating experience. I ate there when it wasn’t open. I ordered something I didn’t care for, and totally didn’t understand how this place was, and in the end I could not help but love this restaurant. When I first came in, I was confused. The Unilocal look up said they did breakfast, but the hours on the door said they didn’t open until 10:30. The activity inside was at full speed, so I went in. I ordered a Cuban at the counter, and when it came, the flavor of the sauce translated as icky in my mouth. Sadie, alerted to my distress, leaped into action. Her prime concern was that the food wasn’t sound. Apparently, it’s my pallet that is faulty, but she didn’t make me feel like I was wrong. She affirmed that it wasn’t unsafe or spoiled, but as I didn’t like it, let’s try again. How about the Ruben? Okay? Moments later she sets me up with a delightful side, a pasta with Gorgonzola, her favorite, and now my favorite, too. The Ruben, classic, was marvelous. She gave me a taste of what the staff was sampling, a mini beef Wellington. It too was superb. This place was extremely busy with a dozen staff diligently tackling massive catering orders, but I could see that the ALL love what they do. They love food. They love their customers. And this high expectation set by the owners is part of the delicious flavor imbued in dishes served here. Come and see.

Good sandwiches, avoid the soup. Sandwiches are tasty, like the pasta side dishes they have. However, I’ve ordered three different soups and they’ve all been very disappointing — most water, and always very thin. I expect a thicker, heartier soup.

Got the Gorgonzola pecan chicken salad today. Meh. Not great but not horrible. Prefer more Gorgonzola and less spice.

I used to really like this place but when I went in today two different people handle my sandwich with no gloves on. Gross, I won’t be back! I hope he wasn’t sick or cleaning toilets. That’s just disgusting!

Located in a strip mall, this place is easy to miss, but you won’t want to. Family owned, quality food, and great customer service. I got the muffuletta sandwich with the spinach and artichoke pasta as a side. Plenty of parking and reasonable price. You’ll be happy you went.

Fancy Pantry is a great spot for a quick delicious lunch. The soups are always great and they always have several lunch sandwich specials. I really like the potato salad and chicken salad and can always find something delicious. Great having this so close to home too. From the outside you can’t really tell the great food you’ll find here.

Had lunch here on Friday… wifey and I… while everything was acceptable, there was nothing outstanding. Wifey had the roast beef sandwich. It was… acceptable…but rather bland… like the cooks were afraid to use any seasoning. I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich… a true cajun would not have recognized this as Cajun… again…Cajun denotes seasoning, spicy… this was, again, rather bland… We both had the Red Potato Salad as a side… and…can you guess the problem with it? Yep, you got it… rather bland… Fancy Pantry gets lots of positive reviews… and we will try it again… but…at this point, I will not be in a hurry…

Came in for lunch, and though it took me a while to figure out what I wanted since there were too many tasty-sounding options, I settled for the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap with a side of fruit. LOVED it. The only star I would ding it for is that it was a bit pricey for the amount of food received, but they’re a smart business, so totally understandable on their part. Will definitely be returning soon.

Wow, this place is incredible! Such fresh food, great service, and plenty of options. I can’t believe I worked in this area for years before discovering Fancy Pantry! So far I can recommend: –Chicken Appleberry Salad –Veggie Bisque –Santa Fe Chicken Wrap I love a wrap, and Fancy Pantry makes a mean one. A half is big enough for lunch, since it comes with one of their awesome sides. Yum! Admittedly, I’m not huge on salads — they can be so boring! But the Appleberry Salad is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. It has just the right amount of fruit, nuts, and cheese. Add some chicken for extra protein, and you’re in salad heaven! This is actually the dish that inspired me to write a review. The veggie bisque is pretty good. Not the best soup in the world, but it’s unbelievably creamy and tasteful for its low calorie count. Definitely worth trying! I have eaten in and picked up. I would recommend picking up, as it gets very busy during the lunch rush(12 – 1). And their phone ordering system is very efficient! You leave a message with your order, and they have it ready SO fast! Another random thing I love: They update their phone recording with their daily soups, so you don’t even need to talk to anyone to find out what soups they have. So smart! Sorry, Panera… this place destroys you. I will be back time and time again!

Love, love, love this place and very much wish I had one or something like it where I live! I used to work across the street from this place and on nice days we would walk over for lunch. It was always busy, which tells you it is good food. I love that it is all made to order and fresh! They have fantastic salads and sandwiches, not to mention the desserts! I never knew they had pasta until someone visiting the area ordered it. They said the pasta dish was very good. Every time I travel back down to this office location, my trip is not complete without going to Fancy Pantry. Give it a try!

If you can’t find a soup, sandwich, or salad here to fit your taste buds, then you’re just too picky of an eater. While the flavors aren’t always what I expect from their thorough descriptions, it is nice that they add so much variety to the standard soup-sandwich-salad place. They have daily specials, which is a refreshing difference from the other such chain operations in the area. If Bubba Blue(of Forrest Gump) worked here, he would’ve been going on and on about side salads instead of shrimp. They’ve got just about every kind of side salad you can imagine to add to your sandwich: pasta salad, potato salad, thai peanut noodle salad, couscous salad, black bean & rice & corn salad, fruit salad, chopped salad, and coleslaw… and those are just the ones in the left case that I can remember. Honestly, it’s more than I like to spend for lunch, but the portions are generous, so I just have to stop myself halfway through and save the rest for the next day. But if I had to pick one reason why I eat there so infrequently, it would be the price — it just makes me file Fancy Pantry in that part of my mind that isn’t bad or good enough to be truly memorable. That said, when someone suggests it, I always agree. The space is cozy, and makes you feel like it’s a real mom-and-pop operation, particularly since the owners name print with«Thank you» on each and every receipt. It’s a refreshing break from all the generic office parks in the area.
