These are the most vegan ignorant people employed! They have no clue what a vegan is, after explaining it, they said«everything on the menu is not vegan…» really? They are idiots and need to get educated on a very common term in dining! Needless to say, it frustrated me enough to write this review!

Food is decent. But the kitchen is clearly challenged and over worked. Went there for dinner on a Friday and it took :50 minutes to get my food after I had asked where it was. They rushed the order to find out that it had been made to go. I should have realized that there were people ahead of me when I ordered wanting their money back. It happened several times while I was waiting for our food to appear. Lots of unbussed tables! Not sure I would return unless it is for takeout and i live across the street. Lasagna is decent but the primavera was cold by the time I got to it so no joy there. Fettuccine was a bit over cooked.

Pretty standard figo. However I’ve noticed that service here is notably slower than most and not as friendly. All three people at my table had empty water cups for over 10 minutes and still waiting…

I like this place, affordable, delicious. Their menu is hard to understand, but I came often so it is not a problem to me. The coconut soup is my recommendation

2nd visit here. Ordered the half arugula salad and the pollo with paprika penne to go. I love that it ia always made fresh to order and hot. Large portions. But this time i had more pasta than sauce or chicken. Ive orderd this before to go during the lunch rush and it was delish. I will return because i want to try the ravioli with shrimp.

I have mixed feelings about FIGO pasta. The concept, to me, feels rather clunky. I don’t like ordering at the counter — I always feel rushed to make a decision as I’m frantically scanning over the list of pastas and sauces. That said, I get how this concept is geared towards those who have limited time on their lunch break who need to get in and out in a hurry. We arrived for lunch on a Saturday where only a handful of tables were occupied. I ordered the braised short rib ravioli with arrabbiata sauce, my wife ordered the wild mushroom ravioli with funghi sauce… and then we waited. A waiter/busser came to our table and placed a small basket of bread in front of us, which we dipped in the provided olive oil to keep our hunger at bay for just a few more minutes. Finally, after what felt like at least 10 minutes, our raviolis arrived(so much for the quick concept). I really enjoyed my raviolis, and my wife enjoyed hers. The pasta was al dente, the pasta to sauce ratio was just right, the arrabbiata was just spicy enough, and my wife was pleased with the quality of the mushrooms. The dollar amount for a plate of six raviolis may have been a bit steep($ 5.25 for the ravioli, $ 4.50 for the sauce), but it wasn’t ridiculous.

Overall this is a solid, affordable Italian option. Pasta: Cooked well, not overdone like most places. Sauce: I had the arrabiata and it was amazing, literally could have eaten that as a soup and been thrilled with it. Arancini: I haven’t seen these done simply and well since I was in Rome. Yeah, these aren’t as great as some you get in Italy, but they are the closest I’ve had and just flat out awesome. Meatballs: This is where things go bad, they are super doughy, as in, way too much breadcrumb. I asked for the gluten free to avoid this issue but either they messed up and gave me the regular or the gluten free one is just as gummy. Overall though, very solid and I’m a fan. Will be back again for that arrabiata!

Staff is excellent. So kind and seem to know exactly what they’re doing. Interior can use some major work. Bathrooms were just grimy. The paint color seems like that of a Americanized Mexican restaurant. If you’re gonna go Italian, go Italian. Food was okay. Presentation wan’t too impressive. Super slow. Seemed very empty. I was there for two hours and nobody had come in except for my group.

This place use to have good service, but now Friday nights are super slow even when there is nobody here. they are out of half the menu and the manager which is a girl with dreadlocks does nothing but text. I guess that’s why the pizza place next door is where everybody is going now.

I know several people who are huge fans of Figo Pasta. Me… eh… not so much! The staff at this location was super nice and I like the concept. Plus, the prices are reasonable. I’m sure in the summertime, this is nice to sit on the patio. The food is mediocre ok, but that’s about it. I do have to say, the pasta was not overcooked, but nice and al dente. I was fearing some seriuosly overcooked pasta, but they do a good job. They also have gluten-free pasta and whole wheat pasta, which is nice. The sauce was where I had the problem. I got the funghi sauce and the flavor was just too«canned mushroom» like for my taste. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. Some other people in our party also didn’t eat more than 3 bites from their dishes. One person had the lasagna which looked gross and apparently tasted just as bad. Another person had ravioli. I was told that their better dishes are the paninis, so I should’ve probably listened to them. I just figured a place with«Pasta» in the name, I should eat what they’re known for… Lesson learned. I’m not sure I will be back here.

I’m a fan of Figo, but Friday night must have been a bad day for them. We stopped by because we wanted a quick dinner, but there was a long line forming inside. The line moved at a glacial pace and I honestly considered leaving for some fast food. We finally ordered and found a table. We waited about 10 minutes for drinks, 15 minutes for bread/silverware and straws and our food took over 20 minutes to get to our table. I came in really hungry and waiting for food/service turning me into Hangry-zilla! We finally got our food and I all but inhaled it. I got the linguine pasta with primavera sauce with a chicken meatball. The meatball wasn’t my cup of tea, too dry for my taste. The dish altogether though, was very good. Every time I eat here I end up with a to-go box, but I was so hungry I ate the whole thing. It should be noted that this place was incredibly under-staffed. There was only one person taking orders and two people had to juggle serving drinks, bread, running food and busing tables. Once I realized this, I understood the wait times for everything. These two people were literally running the whole time I was there. They were both more than happy to get the things we needed and apologized for the wait. Props to those guys. So even though I came in hangry, I left very satisfied. I’ll definitely be back.

My coworkers love this place. I personally think it’s alright. The first time we came and ordered for take-out(we actually came to dine in, but the line was out the door and the service up front was slow). The guy in charge of take-out orders took is dandy time, making sure the plastics bags were tied to his perfection. And took forever to get plastic silverware, which was apparently hidden in a bback closet, which I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t be stocked up front. Anyway, I had a whole wheat linguine pasta with Quattro formagi. The pasta tasted fresh and wheat-y, but the sauce was bland and flavorless. The side salad that it came with was mostly spinach and not much else, although the balsamic vinaigrette was pretty good. The second time I came and dined in. I had a vegetable Panini which tasted fresh and was a good proportion of crispy/melty. Overall, I think the food here tastes healthy/fresh. They offer lunch specials for $ 6.95 that comes with a salad, but all-in-all I don’t see the hype.

We ordered take-away, consisting of — bruschetta — penne with bolognese sauce — Nonna Maria(beef meatball) — lasagna I’ll give the bruschetta a pass on criticism since we didn’t dine in. The lasagna was okay — Philip said he’d gotten just as good at Ippolito’s(and that’s not a compliment). The penne with bolognese was awful. I ended up making a sandwich for dinner as the Figo dish was inedible. Chewy pasta with just enough tomato sauce to color it slightly and bits of what seemed to be ground beef mixed in. I’m serious when I say it reminded me of the pasta we were served in my elementary school cafeteria. The meatball was okay, but that’s it. Two and a half stars, rounded up to 3 since it was take-away, but that had NOTHING to do with the really horrible penne with bolognese, unless I had brought it with me from Wyoming. By Greyhound Bus. With stopovers. We will never be returning. Oh Atlanta, I love you, but I have yet to find an Italian restaurant, chain or otherwise, that is worth the effort to drive there. Do i really need to endure a road trip to Chicago just to get some gooey, cheesy, tomato-y pasta love? Sigh.

After reading and hearing so many things about Figo, I was super excited to go there to try their«amazing» pasta for a dinner date. However, my trip there was only okay. First off, when you walk into the restaurant, you immediately fall in love with décor. It’s rustic decorations make the place feel cozy and authentic. One of the cutest things is that they serve their water in mason jars — which I found really cool. It’s the small things that matter, right? Now, on to the food. We had ordered the bruschetta to start off, which was pretty good. It was loaded with tomatoes and olives, and the bread was nice and crunchy. It was light and refreshing — definitely fit for the hot Atlanta summer heat. I ordered their seasonal special — the penne estate. The spinach pasta was a bit too al dente for me, and although the flavor was nice and light, I just felt like I was just eating a whole lot of plain pasta. My date ordered the mushroom ravioli(I can’t remember the sauce) and that seemed flavorful enough, but it didn’t seem too filling either. Something that I found really strange was that not a lot of the pasta specials had meat in it. You could add meatballs into dishes but that didn’t sound really appetizing. Everything on the menu sounds really good, until you realize that all you’re eating is just a bunch of pasta. And I guess that’s the point of it, but they’re really nothing too special about it.

Better to go to Olive Garden. Calamari app — Luke warm & soggy, $ 1 extra for marinara sauce to dip, but came with a ranch like sauce. Strike One. Eggplant lasagna — Way too salty, and I like salt. Only ate half before giving up. Strike Two! Butternut squash ravioli — No salt, the sauce was basically luke warm cream, no other flavor. The ravioli was about average. Strike three! FIGO, YOUROUT!

We just finished lunch at Figo, so I thought I’d write this review while the meal is fresh in my mind. We ordered food for pickup, so I can’t reveiw the location — only the food. I am a big Figo fan(in fact we named our cat after this place… coincidence, maybe… but both our cat and this restaurant are pretty awesome), and have been several times to the other locations. This was my first time ordering from the Alpharetta location. Today I ordered the lunch special — which gets you a salad(or soup) + short pasta with one of their signature sauces for less than $ 10(GREATDEAL!). I had the fusilli pasta & arrabbiata sauce. The sauce was spicier than I remembered(which was great) and the pasta was cooked to perfection. I also got the baby spinach and goat cheese salad. It was also great — it’s probably one the best salad’s I’ve had lately(the honey balsamic walnut dressing was great paired with the spinach, goat cheese and a little bit of raisins). Overall this was a great experience. My co-workers and I will definitely be doing this again soon!

While I used to love FIGO in west Atlanta, I can’t say that the Alpharetta location really inspires me to visit all that often. I blame the meh service /attitude. 1st star — a la carte menu. I have always liked FIGO’s a la carte menu. It’s expanded over the years since I started going to the west Atlanta Collier Road and Howell Mill Road locations. My favorites combinations have always been… — Broccoli & shrimp sauce w/crab ravioli — Spicy pancetta & tomato sauce w/penne — Mushroom cream & garlic sauce w/sausage & apple ravioli 2nd star — simple dining experience. FIGO is one of those Atlanta dining experiences where you wait in line(sometimes long) to order your food and then take a table where you receive some minor table service, mostly when you receive your food. Unlike Taqueria del Sol, that service DOES include water and bread refills in addition to serving your food. Be mindful and leave a tip when you pay for your food when you order OR leave some money on the table before you leave. Once you’ve placed your order, find a table and wait for the requisite FIGO bread. It’s free, but when it’s busy and/or service sucks, you’ll have to request refills of the basket(now it’s a stainless steel cup with cubes instead of slices). Other than the ordering and waiting on your food, FIGO’s dining experience isn’t much to talk about. I like it. It’s always been very casual and easy going. 3rd star — good food; portions that surprise you. Those menu choices I noted above have never done me wrong. I have always loved those selections. If I had to pick one of the three, I’d lean towards the mushroom cream & garlic sauce with the sausage and apple ravioli. It’s VERY rich, but OOOH, so good. On my last visit to the Alpharetta location, I had the pancetta sauce and penne. You think you’re getting a small portion until you get through the bowl and realize, «Hey — crap — I’m full.» Keep in mind this is usually done on top of at least one basket of FIGO bread. Lost 4th star — cost; expensive«new» items. I always have avoided the FIGO specials — they’re usually $ 1 — $ 2 more expensive, and the combinations of sauces, meats and pasta aren’t always that appealing. I also feel like they’ve raised the price of things like a side salad and/or the ravioli. My wife and I had a half Caesar salad, water to drink, two entrees and two of their new special meatballs and were out over $ 30 before tip. FIGO was always the $ 10 lunch I enjoyed without too much frequency in west Atlanta, but it just seemed pricier this time ’round. Speaking of those meatballs — $ 3 for two of them. I’d rather pay $ 7 for the 3 awesome servings of crispy pork belly at The Iberian Pig. I’m not saying they’re not tasty. But they’re an example of price creep at FIGO. Lost 5th star — meh service and attitude at this location. I’m out of water. Hello? I’m out of water. Waiter? Plan on doing that a little if it’s slow at the Alpharetta location. The staff at 8:30pm just seemed dead. Granted, it’s late in the evening. Still, there was little enthusiasm that I’m used to from the native Italian speaking wait staff in west Atlanta. Mebbe it’s also the location — it’s in the back corner of yet another dinky suburban shopping /condo development. It’s hard to see from the road. Actually, you can’t see it. Unless you need to go the BB&T OR the piano reseller that you can see from the road. Perhaps the staff is bored from lack of traffic. Final words — I’ll go back. I like FIGO and cannot make it to the west Atlanta location which never failed me. The food at this location has never been bad. I just won’t go as much. ’tis pricier than other options, and the peeps there seem meh about their customers.

I admit it, I’m a fan of Figo Pasta. Why? Reliably good food on a reliably delicious menu. My favorites? In no particular order: The Funghi sauce: A wild mushroom cream sauce with a little bit of garlic. I mean really – mushrooms and garlic, what else do you need? The Salmone con Piselli: This is described as a pink vodka sauce with salmon and peas. But don’t let the description fool you. It’s delicious. The Ragu’ alla Bolognese sauce: A classic bolognese. Beef, onions, tomatoes, celery – the works. Put any of these on a spinach pappardelle or tagliatelle, and I’m a happy guy.
