Frosted Pumpkin Gourmet

I’m surprised no one has written a review for this place but it needs recognition. I actually used this husband and wife team back in 2009 for my wedding.. .I had tasted their decadent coconut cake at a Bridal Expo– they were one of the exhibitors. I couldn’t stop thinking about the cake.. .But we were supposed to have our cake done through the hotel where we were having our wedding. Well, tasting day came around and the hotel cake was absolutely disgusting. With only weeks to spare (which is not the recommended time frame to contact someone when getting a professional to prepare a cake for you) I contacted Jeff at Frosted Pumpkin and described by dilemma. He graciously accepted my plea and fast tracked the process for us. He even offered us a tasting plate that I picked up at his house– all flavors were amazing and it was so hard to pick. My overall favorite was still the coconut– the cake was so tender and the coconut was moist and not dry at all. We ended up picking raspberry in the interest of a wedding friendly flavor. But I couldn’t stop talking about the coconut and low and behold my husband surprised me with a coconut cake for my birthday only a month later.. . I would definitely recommend any cake they make for any special occasion!
