Wonderful and fast service! The strawberry crepes weren’t the best I’ve had, but still very good.

This place was ehhhh… Went with my wife and friends for brunch and it’s really only a breakfast place. They don’t have much of a menu. The service was good, but I don’t think I will go back. I had the traditional meal, 2eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuits n gravy. I was not«wow’d», nor was anyone else, it was just ok.

Best chocolate chip pancakes on planet. Serving portions were good size and definitely fulfilling for the money. Would recommend for breakfast but offered lunch and dinner as well through out the day.

Love the biscuits and gravy, the skillets, sandwiches, pretty much everything they make. And. this location ia their best in terms of layout, atmosphere and ambience. Love it.

This location has really gone down the tubes. For a Saturday morning the place was half empty, which was not the case a couple of years back. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor. Pancake seemed reheated, hash looked premade and stacked in plates. However, the worst was these guys no longer know how to serve quality scrambled eggs! Sorry, but scrambled eggs are not made by cutting up a big thin egg pancake… overcooked and absolute crap!!! I’m not sure they understand why the business is gone for good!

We have frequented this place a couple of times and each time the service is excellent and the servers are very courteous. That’s what we like most about this place. Not to mention, the food is good too! Bravo, guys!

Just average pancakes and eggs. The service was OK. Not a bad place but no real reason to go back.

Sloppy inattentive service. Odd, because the restaurant was basically empty. Next time I have a business breakfast it won’t be here.

Was visiting for the week and it was nice to look on Unilocal to find a great place! Customer service was an A+ and the breakfast was yummy! Fresh squeezed orange juice, & the best pancakes!!!

I finally had a chance to visit this restaurant after hearing about it for years. I think I never came here because I like my brunch served with mimosas, I don’t believe they offer them here(phooey). But I was pleased with what they do offer. I ordered the San Bernadino omelette with egg whites, and it was still very flavorful. I also had a side of grits and an english muffin. Everything was delicious. And my server was super sweet. I’ll definitely be visiting again(though I may try to sneak a mini bottle of champagne in with me… what’s brunch without booze?).

This place is bomb. Used to come here(admittedly, sometimes alone; it’s that good) and get the spinach/bacon skillet and a sweet dish(I like to eat). Nice mood too. I must say though, that I came here once with a friend who did not care for the food at all, but she had very different taste then me and we never agreed on what good food was. I wish they had something like that spinach and bacon skillet out here. Top place.

Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Got omelet and blueberry pancake with side of grits. Split it with my husband and we both had plenty. Reasonably price good service

I love this place! Good, wholesome nutritional food. I love the Irish cut oatmeal. Very generous portion with raisins and raisin toast. Add a side of Turkey patties sausage and your meal is complete! Waitstaff is friendly. Prices are comparable for the quality and quantity of food. A must do place!

I’ve been coming here for a long time, I always get the chocolate chip pancakes, the eggs benedict, or the turkey avocado hash. Its a good, reliable, and consistent place for breakfast or brunch, and I have yet to have a bad experience.

The food and service we’re both terrible. I am vegetarian and when I ordered the waitress rudely told me they would not accommodate before she even asked the kitchen. All I wanted was vegetables on potatoes. When it came out it had spinach but none of the other veggies I asked for.?. So the manager wrote down what I wanted and it still wasn’t right! Then they charged me for everything! Even the stuff I didn’t get. The food was old and tasteless. My friend got eggs that was as hard as plastic.

I came to this J. Christopher’s out of nostalgia for another one located in Savannah, GA. The one in Savannah, is so unique it even has different menu items, although they are part of the same chain of restaurants. While this J. Christopher does not encourage you to bring your dog along, nor does it have menu items for dogs like the Savannah location, they still serve great food and beverages. Their omelets are almost legendary(yes, they are that good), and the coffee is bottomless. They have one called the Billy Goat, or something like that, which is truly unique and delicious. The staff is always friendly, they greet you quite warmly, and service is very quick and fairly intuitive(or such has been my experience). So, when I started a new job in January, and the job was located right across the street … I just had to start my first workday at the new location with J. Christopher’s(and with my family). It was a good choice, and we had a great time together. The décor in this restaurant is nice, cool, and calming … tranquil to start the day. Yet I wondered, if I listened hard enough, would I hear the ring of a bike bell from outside, or hear a happy dog munching a morsel by its owner’s feet. Maybe only in my imagination …

Ate here for lunch because I have a coworker that had the palate of a three year old. I had the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was just alright. It wasn’t really seasoned well and had started to separate. I like a little lemon or paprika and it lacked both. The potatoes were stale like they had been cooked/fried hours before and reheated on a flat top. Completely no seasoning on them at all. It was better than what I could get at IHOP but a far cry than what I can make at home. Not sure I’ll be back again.

Was not that impressed! *Pros* –Service was pretty good –Large party was seated quickly –Food came quickly *Cons* –The food was pretty mediocre. Here’s some bacon, eggs, and grits on a plate. No real seasoning to speak of. The coffee was on point however! –The décor felt pretty hodge podge too. *Verdict* –Overall this felt like a chain experience, but not a chain that I’d ever want to go back to. Luckily, the company I was with rocks!
