Prices are great here, and they offer a variety of services. I have gotten my upper lip waxed and threaded here, a small haircut, and a facial done here. I would recommend the waxing and threading for eyebrow and upper lip. This was the first time I had my eyebrows shaped — she did a wonderful job.

For the record, I love you Unilocalers so much that I’m actually giving a review on a brazilian wax. Which is awkward. You better thank me. I found this salon through a Living Social deal which offered 3 brazilian waxes for $ 59(the link for the deal is at the end of my review). A regular priced brazilian at Krish is $ 30+ so I essentially bought 2 and got 1 free. MOST salons charge $ 60+ for their brazilians so this was an incredible deal with or without a Living Social coupon. When I arrived to the salon for my first appointment I was immediately led to the torture chamber… I mean waxing room. The room was fluorescently bright, bare, and seemingly little effort was made to make it feel similar to a spa. I felt like I was laying on examination table. There was no music or any type of sound distraction playing, so it was a bit awkward when it came time to strip down. There continued to be no relaxing«spa sounds» for the duration of the event which meant most of my focus was on the pain happening downstairs. I couldn’t sneak a picture of the room because after my first appointment she just stayed in the room with me while I de-clothed. Beware ye who are modest. I have been doing brazilians on and off for a few years now and have done almost all the different types; soft wax, hard wax, and sugaring. At this salon, the owner chooses to do soft wax with paper strips. Unfortunately that was not mentioned on the Living Social deal and it happens to be my least favorite method. In my opinion the result is not as lasting or effective as the other options. When the owner came in to start my brazilian I realized she was NOT wearing gloves. That, to me personally, is very gross. I almost said something but I avoid awkward confrontation at all costs so I forced myself not to think about it. I’m sure she washed her hands thoroughly before AND after(I keep cringing as I write this). The saving grace of this experience was how long it took. 5 minutes. Seriously. BOOM. Miserable pain? Sure, but no more than any other brazilian I’ve had. Because she uses strips she is able to get a lot more hair quickly. I’ve done brazilians that have taken a full hour to complete. Sure I was much more relaxed… but it’s hard not to prefer being in and out within 10 minutes! That could be why she doesn’t bother with music or ambiance, you aren’t in there long enough to enjoy it! I have finished out my Living Social deal and had 3 successful brazilians done there. Stars lost for the ambiance and hygiene however I will most likely continue going here due to the affordability and quickness of the whole ordeal. I would not recommend going here if it is your FIRST brazilian however. Go somewhere that has relaxing vibes and other means to take your mind off the pain.

The owner is extremely rude and mean. she doesnt know how to speak to clients. She talks in sarcastic and weird way and crticizes alot. I went to her twice and i am not going back again. I have found more decent and professional place. She should have some respect and professional attitude. If you are looking for someone kind and polite dont go to her.
