So. I might be a bit biased because Lou & Grey’s aesthetic so closely fits my own, but it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful stores I’ve ever had the pleasure of shopping in. The curation is just so on-point; everything, whether it be how the clothes are hung to the not-for-sale décor, is just so full-of-intent. When I first set foot inside, I felt transported back to my old stomping grounds of Soho or Brooklyn, NYC, but no — I was back in my hometown of Alpharetta, GA. A huge bonus is that the prices are totally reasonable, especially if you shop in the sale section. Oh, oh! Yet another added bonus is that they carry unique products(jewelry, perfumes, etc) from lesser-known, emerging designers. I would seriously live at this store if I could.

Love, love this new line by LOFT, especially the Alpharetta location. Staff is warm and helpful, and the clothes are amazing — everything matches everything else! Great price point and there’s usually also a big olé sale rack in the back. My favorite part is the Atlanta-based US artisan-made jewelry, beauty products, and home goods, and all the wonderful fragrances they carry, plus so many outfits made on natural materials — linen, cotton, washable silk. If they had coffee, I’d never leave!

Not sure if I am more in love with the aesthetic of this shop or the clothing! I walked in a few days ago at the new Alpharetta mix-use development called The Avalon. If you’re not usually in the Atlanta OTP North area, you probably haven’t heard of it but you definitely won’t miss it. Get off at Exit 10 on the 400N and make a left onto Old Milton Pkwy – it’ll be on your right. Price Point: I have yet to buy anything from Lou and Grey but from what I noticed the price point is quite good. With the lower priced items starting at about $ 25(lower for some accessories) with a range that goes a little above $ 100. Clothing: I love their relaxed basics, and their minimalistic design approach to jewelry and clothing. So at first glance the clothing looks great! However, it would be unfair to comment on quality as I am not sure what texture and true quality is like. Service: Now I hate being bombarded by sales associates in retail shops. Hate it, hate it, hate it! HOWEVER, I felt pretty invisible while I was there. I actually had to call out and say/yell«Hello!» to the sales associates on the floor. Yes, I was annoyed but I did it with a smile – promise :) Will I Go Back? I’m not sure what the bad service was about – blame it on a dreary Tuesday morning maybe but I’ve done retail before so I know how a customer should be treated and I left feeling a little perturbed and confused. On one end I fell in love with the brand and on another I wasn’t attended to warmly. I will go back though! My closet does not discriminate, not even against bad service! Haha! I’ll update when I do!
