Have never had a better dentist. Nancy is my regular and is an absolute treasure. I will never go anywhere else as long as I can help it.

There is a reason I drive twice yearly from midtown to Alpharetta to get my teeth cleaned at Dr. McGee’s office. Three, actually. First, there’s Dr. Mark McGee, who has got to be one of the coolest dentists in the world. He’s gentle(no pain!) and friendly, and plays awesome music — rock, blues, country — instead of the mindless New Age crap you often hear. On the last two visits, I’ve heard Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, and Bruce Hornsby.(He plays entire albums.) Second and third are Nancy Green and Lori Miller, dental hygienists extraordinaire. If you live in the area, and don’t have a dentist, I strongly recommend contacting Dr. McGee. You won’t be disappointed!

Finding a good doctor can be frustrating. So, I want to let everyone know about Dr McGee! I’ve been living in Atlanta for a while now and was way past due on a dental checkup. My manfriend and his family have lived here for a while longer than I have so I asked for suggestions and they all went on and on about the great Dr McGee. I thought it was a bit exaggerated at first, but oh no, this guy(and his staff) are good! The staff is so very nice and warm. The receptionist even took the time to fax me the new patient forms so I could shave some time off of the standard 2 hour first appointment. The Doctor himself was very thorough and although busy he took his time to answer my questions and make me feel welcome. In the spirit of full disclosure, he’s ironically from my homeland(New Orleans) and the place is covered in Jazz Fest Posters. So, one of my stars may be related to the décor. ;)
