This is a wonderful yarn shop, in a great location! The owner is always very friendly and helpful, and the shop has a really nice selection of yarns.

Both Elyse and Bill are wonderful people and Ruby is a great greeter ;). The shop is not huge and sometimes the selection is not what I would want but the experience is always wonderful!

The owner, Elyse, has helped me through more major knitting issues than I can count including one major one involving my daughter’s wedding shawl! She is always such a sweetheart about any help I need and an excellent teacher to boot! She carries some lovely, quality yarns and the shop is full of tops, shawls, scarves, etc., done in the yarns so you can see how your project will turn out! I can recommend Only Ewe and Cotton, Too and Elyse whole-heartedly!

Today was my first visit to this delightful little shop! I was greeted at the door by a friendly dog — I’ve forgotten her name, but she said hello and then contentedly curled up on her rug. I had had an appointment in Sandy Springs and had searched for a yarn shop to visit while I was out. And I’m so glad I decided to find this little place. The selection is limited, but very nice. I got the needles I needed and even came home with a hank of pretty yarn. Bill was kind and helpful and directed me to a wonderful bakery — The Alpine Bakery and Trattatoria. Believe me, the next time I’m out that way, I’m going to eat there. As it is I came home with pastries!

I will never make a purchase from this store again, the owner is rude and he was unnecessarily disrespectful.

This is my favorite yarn store in Atlanta area, they have a great selection of yarn at multiple price points. They cater to the knit AND crochet community, with groups that meet socially in the store as well. Their service is great(special orders and they wind the yarn for you). I believe in supporting local yarn stores — and Only Ewe is terrific.

What a lovely yarn shop! Sweet and knowledgable help with a beautiful selection. Came in looking for a hard to find yarn and quickly became distracted with the wide selection of different fibers and colors. Go here! You’ll be happy you did.

Small shop, with limited selection and OK prices. Best part about the visit was the staff(owner’s husband there on his own), who offered up some very pleasant conversation while he wound my purchases for me. Nothing particularly *wrong* with this place, but the selection is so limited there’s not any special motivation for me to come HERE.(Although if I were to try the Alpine Bakery in the same strip mall that he recommended, I might change my mind — we just weren’t hungry at the time!)

For a place with«cotton» in the name, their selection in cotton and cotton blends is a bit lean. Can’t beat them for wool, though, and the proprietress is a gem. It’s a great shopping experience and high value for the money.

Yes, this is a great yarn shop with excellent choices of all types of fiber and some different mixes of patterns with nice extra focus on men(which you rarely see). Service was wonderful and they have active knitting groups to attend. Go here if you are in the north of Atlanta.
