I wouldn’t categorize this as «Mediterranean» food, it more like american/Mexican version of it. I read some of the hit and miss reviews but decided to check this place out since it was close by. I walked inside and the bleak yellow paint all of the walls with 1980s posters of halal food on every other wall but I thought okay, maybe there just more focus on their food. I ordered the gyro with greek fries and my friend order the gyro quesadilla with falafel but as the cashier asked if pickles and other odds ingredients were okay on my gyro I was completely thrown off! I went with it and had their traditional gyro that they normally make it since I didn’t want to be too quick to judge. After biting into my food and tried some of my friend, I felt like I wasted my money coming here. The food was not good, the fries was just overcook with only seasons sprinkle on top of it, the falafel was crispy with no taste and the side sauce for it was water down, my gyro had too much veggies on it and the quesadilla was not spread out proportionally, some parts had only cheese and some parts only had meat. I only gave this place an extra star because the service was on point!

Food was highly overpriced and I found a hair in it. The location is a shabby place. I will give it to them that their staff is super friendly, which would be the only reason I would ever return. However, considering the price and the low quality I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place. Found through a search for«gluten free pita bread» when I was craving a gyro and didn’t know where to turn. I’ve only been once, journeying up from Vinings. SOWORTHIT. In fact, I was thinking about going today, until I remembered they’re closed on Sundays. That is probably the only drawback to this spot. The GF pita was very tasty, the gyro was filling as ever, and the fries, as others have described, are perfectly crisp and tender. I ordered my gyro with a Greek side salad, which was huge. Definitely bang for your buck here. I plan to go back soon to try the hummus. Yum!

I give this restaurant a solid 3 stars upon my first and only visit. I ordered the falafel wrap and fries and the service a little slow given I got in before the lunchtime rush. I wasn’t wowed by the flavor of the falafel, in fact, it didn’t taste at all like it was freshly fried and wasn’t hot. I took it to-go and my drive back was about 7min to the office so I would think if it were fresh and hot, it would still be fresh and hot. The fries were fresh and hot so I presume that was the reason for the wait, not the falafel. Despite it not seeming hot & fresh, the flavor of the falafel itself was a little«different» than I’m used to. It just had a weird tartness to it… granted, I understand there are slight variations to falafel recipes depending on the country of origin so please take my review of the flavor with a grain of salt. All in all, I’d go back if I have the overwhelming urge for really good, fresh fries and mediocre falafel.

Horrible! The restaurant is tiny, the service is slow and the food is terrible. We went at around 11 – 11:30 am and there were 2 other tables occupied. I ordered a lamb gyro. I know a lot of Greek places serve lamb/beef combined. This was nothing but beef. It was like eating a hamburger pita. The humus was terrible. Have not and will not go back.

No good food and poor service. I have been there once and that would be my last time.

I use to call myself a connoisseur off all things Gyro. It wasn’t until I was visiting the Roswell/Alpharetta GA area that my taste buds had not truly experienced a culinary delight as what was waiting for me at Seven Seas Mediterranean café. Maybe I have been virtually playing in the kiddy pool of this dish. Whatever it is this place makes the best gyro I have yet to ever taste. When ever I order them at home I have to request extra tzatziki sauce. The first time I visited this place I paid for the extra sauce, wasted money. They put a perfect amount of sauce on this culinary delight. The thing that really won me over besides there great service and ability to recreate a delicious product no matter what time I visit. Is what I’m calling the secret ingredient, it was a pleasant surprise the first time I ate one. Now it’s part of the draw back. I may be a novice and my past experiences may have just been at places that just didn’t know what they were doing, but if you like a good gyro this is your place.

Parking: Two rows in the front. We went at 2pm on a weekend, so it was empty at the time. However, I can imagine it getting very crowded during the weekday lunch rush. Set up: Fast casual. Order and pick up at the counter. You can sit inside or on their patio. Food: Typical mediterranean joint. They’ve got your gyros, souvlaki, falafels, and shawarmas. You get a lot of food for the price! The tastes and textures are good, but I didn’t have have anything that stood out as amazing or special. The pita was a little tough; I attribute that to having lunch at 2pm when the pitas aren’t the freshest. Service: Friendly staff

One of the best gyros in Atlanta. I chose the lamb gyro with hummus. The balance of meat, sauce and vegetables was on point and the pita bread was light and fluffy. Ending the meal with a piece of the baklava was the best decision, even though I wish I’d bought the whole thing. Will definitely be visiting again as it’s perfectly close to my work.

Seven Seas Mediterranean Café is LEGIT. I discovered this place about a year ago because it is conveniently located across the street from work. That said, if you’re not familiar with the area, it can be a little tough to find. Located next to a liquor store(Red’s) and across from a car detail shop(Mammoth) there’s nothing that makes Seven Seas stand out. The same is true of the nondescript interior — a few booths and a nice patio, a soda fountain and dessert counter, and you’re in business. The food is an excellent bargain for the price, though. It always hits my gyro craving(so much so that I still haven’t branched out and tried anything else!) and the Greek fries are solid. Basically, they’re typical fries(crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, mmm mmm mmm) mixed with a few herbs and spices that I suppose«Greek» them up. The homemade hummus is scrumptious, very creamy, and served with warm, almost buttery pita points. At about $ 9 for a combo(gyro/falafel wrap and a side plus a drink) you really can’t go wrong. They also have baked chicken wings and burgers for the less adventurous members of your party, but I can’t vouch for them — again, the gyros are so good that I see no reason to branch out!

Yes… Yes…Yes…The lamb gyro is so good, and then there’s the fries! The best fries ever! This little hole in the wall is like a rare gem. Worth the drive from Cumming in search of a good, reasonably-priced gyro!

Best chicken kebab I’ve ever had. Really cool hole in the wall type place — definitely going back to this spot.

Food is prepared to order. I got the combo for $ 8.99 with a chicken gyro and a side order of falafel. Gyro was good– pita was a little tough. Falafels were no bueno. They were very dry and bland. The sauce it came with had an earthy herby weird aftertaste I did not care for. Would not order the falafel again. Next time, I’d sit outside, weather permitting, and try the fries or hummus as my side item. Overall, decent deal for a freshly made warm lunch. The ambiance was very casual– place seemed pretty run down. There were really old random posters on the walls. However, everything seemed very clean and orderly and their health rating was proudly displayed(99). Definitely appreciate that. They have a soda fountain for drinks, as well as a few bottled ones. Be warned, they put pickles in their gyros. But I actually liked them in there. There’s also a lot of onions in there. Decent food, great service, clean. Good lunch spot.

This was my first experience with authentic Mediterranean food and I was very pleased with my decision. I had a lunch special of a lamb gyro and a side if hummus that was well prepared and delicious. $ 12 for the special that included the fountain drink and tip. The food was a pleasant change from the typical lunch of a burger or sandwich. The lamb was tender and the hummus was a savory treat. The tomatoes were a little more translucent than I would’ve liked. The interior definitely left something to be desired as well. However there is patio seating for good weather days. The food came out quick so if you plan on take out or want to eat outside this is a solid choice.

OHMYLORD, the sandwich I just had was pretty much the best experience of my life. I ordered the veggie gyro, which I was a bit wary about, because grilled veggie sandwiches are often hard to get right. I was especially wary of this sandwich, because the grilled veggies were cauliflower, green beans, and some other atypical grilled veggie sandwich vegetable. HOWEVER, it was brilliant! I have no idea how they did it, but it was a masterpiece! I got mine to-go, and they made it all fresh in about five minutes! Had to pull over to write this real quick, cause it was just so good. I even dropped some of the juices on myself in the car and I wasn’t even mad. As a matter of fact, I’d bathe in this sandwich. Please go try it! Awesome new take on the gyro sandwich/wrap!

You walk in there, and the smell from the food instantly hits you. Amazingly fragrant. I ordered the gyro and fries, wrapped, and to go. I wasn’t expecting much with the fries, so I was really happy they were so amazing. Yeah, pickles on a gyro is a little weird, but I only got two of them, and I really like pickles, so ultimately I was all right with it. The tzatziki sauce was good with big pieces of cucumber in it. Do ask for extra, though. It’s not necessarily needed, but it’s so yummy. Great place to go, and I’m looking forward to going back.

I was excited to try a new gyro place, and for once it wasn’t a let down! I probably wouldn’t go back, but I did enjoy it. There was enough food for me to have for lunch, then for my husband to take it to work the next day. I had the gyro plate. The gyro wasn’t chewy like a lot of places around here are. I had seen the fries on a Unilocal review and was very excited to try them, but they were a bit on the soggy side with not enough seasoning on them.

[TL;DR] Hidden in the recesses of Highway 9, you will find one of the better Mediterranean food spots around. I’m not just saying that because they have a sign that claims it. ;-) First of all, the owner is spectacularly kind and patient. I observed this sentiment echoed in the customers that came in after me. It was clear they generate a lot of repeat business. Very much enjoyed the order we placed consisting of a gyro, a Greek salad, Greek fries, and falafels. It was all very good. I wouldn’t say the falafels were the best I have ever had(saving that spot for a place in NYC) but still quite good. Lastly, if this interests you, there are hookahs here. I imagine you’d have to use it on the outside patio. They also serve Turkish coffee — very good — which I imagine would go very well with it.

I have driven by Seven Seas Café numerous times and never stopped by until recently. The gyro was great and the vegetables were fresh. The fries were good also; crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly. Good spot for lunch!

This location has been around for about 2 years now, and I’ve got to say that it was a unique find for me. The owner(or manager) was very genuine and enthusiastic when I came by to pick up my phone order. He seemed to know right away who I was as I stepped up to the counter. The atmosphere was relaxing, kind of like a Steak n Shake but minus the crowd and teenagers. The portion size was very large(this coming from a guy too). I got the steak and lamb gyro, fries, and a drink for $ 8.99. The gyro was uniquely placed in saran wrap and foil to keep it warm. A nice touch for clean fingers as I was working and eating at the same time. The food was divine. The only thing I didn’t like too much was the over loading of onions. A very minor detail. But I had some left over fries that I reheated and ate the next morning(I was too full to finish it and didn’t want to waste food), and my coworkers smelled the aroma and thought it was something from a Japanese restaurant. I mean the fries were good, but I guess it smelled even better! lol. Oh. There is a rewards program too. Something like $ 5 off an accumulation of 50 points. I would definitely visit this place again as it is a cozy place to sit and talk with delicious food.
