Suntrust

Firstly: I switched from wells fargo to Suntrust Almost 4 years ago– went to the Publix Crossville location and had the Most excellent customer service– Then moved and it all went to hell.
This was by far the Absolute crappiest «customer service» Ive EVER experienced. I took time off work to go and talk to them about having fees charged on top of fees (almost $ 500 worth) and the first thing they told me was that wouldn’t refund any of the fees because they could loose their job. I sit down with this lady and ask her to look at my account and she immediately says I have the wrong kind of account and i should have never had that one (which had been charging me $ 17/​a month for 2 years. So she refunds me 1 fee of $ 17.00. Then tells me I have paid nearly 3k in fees to the bank this year but this could have been prevented if I had linked my account to a Suntrust credit card… I about lost it… Ive paid 3k in fees and in the 30 times Ive been to the bank NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD ME THAT. then she runs my credit without me asking and tries to sign me up for the card. I told her no, i was so beyond frustrated with the bank i couldn’t see straight, so she proceeds to tell me about how I shouldn’t feel bad, she lost over a million dollars in the stock market and that she pays x amount for her rent and her child care a month… Not trying to be like that. but this pertains to me and my BANK account How? I ended up getting up and leaving practically in tears from being SO frustrated and got a call from their customer feedback to tell them about my branch experience. Started to tell them about it and was hung up on… STAY AWAY FROM Suntrust really are out for your money.
