YAZ HONEY, I GOT «SURVED» !!
Today was so my day! I waited until the last minute to purchase my husband’s Christmas gift because I was hoping that he would change his mind. Silly me! He wanted the Bialetti Moka, (12 cup coffee pot), and I just assumed that I could walk into the store and purchase it. WRONG!
I had verified that it was sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but to my shock they did not the requested size in stock. The only option available was to order it, have a gift card sent, (informing the person of the purchase and the fact that it was «on the way»). Not an option. This is my spouse and this was the main item he requested so I had to find it by any means necessary. I checked Macy’s and a couple of other stores before I decided that I needed to visit Sur. I had been there earlier in the month but had not noticed any Bialettis. This was one of my last options. I walked in and noticed the coffee pots and related accessories. I noticed the brand and began to look for the size I needed when I was offered assistance by an employee. He reached up under the table and delivered the exact item I was seeking. Yay!
For some reason, these 12 cup pots are not as common and stores tend to only stock the 6 cup and 9 cup pots. The salesman was kind enough to give me the code for a 20% discount.
I had a reasonable wait in line and BINGO, it was done! YAY ME!

We received a gift for the «Chinese New Year» cooking class with Chef Kyle. It was outstanding! We tried out a new line of knives and learned several new cooking techniques. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening and even went back the next day for their in house knife sharpening service.

Great top end kitchen store but made even better with a kitchen and chef for classes. Chef Kyle is an excellent teacher. Our entire family and some of our neighbors have taken his classes and we look forward to more. If you have ever wanted to improve your cooking skills, this is the place at a reasonable price.
