Walgreens

I wanted to give 1 star based on my experience, but upon pickup the pharmacy tech Malik (questionable spelling on my part) saved them a zero/​negative star rating. The pharmacist, based on their website «team» her name is Poonam P., was beyond the typical less than desirable chain employee you encounter. She was rude, and cut me off verbally three times during my drive-​through prescription drop-​off and again twice during my pick-​up.
Not only did I wait in the drop-​off drive-​through line at the Main Street Alpharetta location for over fifteen minutes, when I got to the window she both verbally cut me off as well as physically when she started closing the little «bank teller box» that I was putting my prescription in. Initially I chocked it up to having a bad night, and went on my way. However, when I returned to pick-​up, she was just as unpleasant and just as inefficient/​slow. She really should not be in a customer-​facing position there, and she is lucky to have a pharmacy tech (or just a reasonably pleasant human being) working with her. I will NOT return to this Walgreen’s pharmacy EVER. I will wait, if needed, and go to the Windward Parkway Walgreen’s (or another near Main ST) where the employees are both pleasant and helpful — all of the employees.
Perhaps I’m used to a standard that isn’t reasonable, but that’s the standard her co-​workers at the Windward location have set. If you have over an hour to burn, and would like to interact with rude, disrespectful employees — this pharmacy was made for you!
