Eat for lunch and you can’t beat that! Get a lot of food for around $ 6. Cheaper than any fast food joint and it’s healthy food! Service is good and the food is good too. It’s one of my regular spots in Alpine. Beats the other Asian restaurant in Alpine hands down.

Take out menu was quick and easily accessible. Service was less than 20 minutes. High five for making an exception to make something that they didn’t usually make for a picky customer. Awesome service thank you!

One of the worst customer service I’ve dealt with, fast food included. I called my order 30 minutes before. It was a relatively simple order– avocado roll and CA roll. White lady over the phone was pleasant. When I got here 20 minutes later(as they suggested) they supposedly didn’t have it ready and there was only 4 other people in the restaurant. The Asian chick with broken English was beyond rude and never made an effort to check on my order. When I finally started to lose patience she started to look around and ask questions while rolling her eyes and giving me an entitled attitude. Come to find out my order was just sitting off to the side and no one bothered to bring it out. I’ve placed«to go» orders in numerous sushi places in Calabasas, Valencia, OC and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever gotten. I will never come back and will rather drive 30 minutes to go to ones in San Diego. Shame this is the only sushi place in Alpine. Unreal. As for the food, it was fine. Not too bad given these are simple rolls. But not worth the abhorrent customer service I got.

Ahi Sushi is fantastic. I’ve been here many times and whether it’s just me ordering takeout for dinner or a whole group of friends, they offer fantastic service and supreme quality at an affordable price. They are also open late for a sushi place, until 9:30, and will accept takeout orders right up until that time. They are an extremely fast and convenient option for Alpine when you get sick of McD’s and the CJ Lounge.

Absolute best sushi go to. Went with a friend late one night and as we pulled up they were turning off the sign to close. The owner assured us he would gladly stay and make us whatever sushi we would like. He gave us a free roll and was extremely social and friendly the entire time. Very reasonably priced, very friendly, very delicious. 6 out of 5

They were quite busy on a Wednesday night. The wait was a little bit for our sushi but I enjoyed the garlic edamame. I also really liked the Ahi roll and the cucumber wrapped roll.

this place has never failed. and Alpines location is definitely better, and friendlier than their other location near navajo i believe. They always let up sub noodles for rice when ordering entrees for our kids to share(the other location is always snooty when we ask to sub noodles and refuses any substituions the two times we have gone, their servers are ok). They love their teriyaki and orange chicken. we have yet to order anything that hasnt been outstanding. the sushi chefs always say thanks and goodbye, and all the waiters and waitresses are beyond nice. One time they even gave an extra cup of soup free of charge to one of my three daughters to make her happy. you can always ask them any questions and they answer honestly.

Favorite sushi place right now. They have so many good rolls to choose from. The service isn’t always great but the food is so good that it almost makes up for it. Every roll I’ve tried there has been amazing and the fried rice plates are huge.

Huge fan of Ahi… I’ve eaten in here a few times with great service but I mainly take my sushi to go. I love the combos they put together, where essentially you can get 4 pieces of 4 different rolls for the same price as one of the larger special rolls. Its a nice way to sample the selections they offer. We usually order one of each of the combos and have a nice little feast. If you dine in, you’ve gotta try the Hamachi Kama! They make it really delicious here and the portions are big. Love this place!

Great variety of food options. We shared a shrimp killer and lady roll, both were flavorful and not the ordinary concoction. For the main dish we each had a bowl. The shrimp and beef were great, but the rice was a bit tough and seemed like it had been sitting for a bit. The rolls, nigiri, and shrimp/beef were 4+ stars, but the rice was what held it back from the 4 star review. Will definitely try again and hope to give it the 4 next time.

First of all, I don’t like sushi… which is why I love that they have other entrée options! Their orange chicken is to die for. I also love their dinner meal deal(comes with sweet & savory wontons, entrée plate, salad and soup) for around $ 9! My family loves sushi so this is the perfect place to come and satisfy all of our Asian food cravings. I’ve also had their Pad Thai and it was quite good. It was a mountain of noodles! It’s always very busy here but I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. The servers are very sweet and prompt.

My go to place for Salt & Pepper wings aka Crack wings. Beats going down to National City to get them!

Good. The rice needs to be more tightly packed on the actual sushi. Mine was breaking all over the place. The service was spectacular, thus the four stars.

Very horrible service. We ordered the spicy tuna as always and Sapporo and saki special. The watress leaves doesn’t tell us anything then an older lady comes over, i guess she’s the owner or manager. So we finish then i go to pay and she’s our cashier also. I ask whats my bill? No bill whats so ever, not only that but she trys to charge me regular price instead of the happy hour price i told her and she tried to act surprised as if she didnt know. Ask if she talks to her employees at all? «YOU should communicate. So i payed my bill and leftover like if someone tried to pull something on me. Ive seen her take her employees tips also. I will never go back to a place treats you as if you’re a fool. I don’t care to pay if its good. Terrible business reall.y. im being nice by giving this place two stars.

This is still one of our favorite local sushi places. Lately I have been having the veggie combo sushi plate, and the salmon skin rolls. Both are very good! They have started keeping gluten-free soy sauce available, and if you have them leave the sauce off the salmon skin rolls they are gluten-free(as far as I know). This place is informal, usually with televisions on in one room, But the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently good, and reasonably priced. Still an enthusiastic fan.

Best sushi near Harbison canyon. So glad we found our new sushi spot! Delicious! –Customer service: fantastic, super friendly, they dont rush you and are fast –Appetizer: jalapeño poppers(foodgasm) best poppers yet. Super creamy, with a kick, not spicy, and covered in a combo of drizzled sauces! –Sushi rolls: dynamite roll(baked) soooo delicious! & scorpion roll(specialty) was also very delicious. The prices are also very reasonable and appropriate for the yummy and great quality food.

Five stars for the lunch special. Can you believe that I did not like sashimi before? I don’t know about you but who eats raw fish right? I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with the buttery taste and texture of sashimi. Ahi Sushi is a change of scenery in Alpine. I always opt for the«sashimi lunch special», a great price for a great meal. Your order comes with miso, five tuna rolls, and four pieces of sushi. I like the way they prepare the radish(it looks like noodles) so I always ask for extra radish(I treat it like pasta-I know call me weird). I had different rolls here before and they are all good at reasonable price! All I can say is that this is my training ground for eating sashimi. This place is our go to place whenever we are craving for some sushi. I am a creature of habit so they know what I am getting whenever they see me!

We have gone to Panda Machi a few times but the service, cleanliness and overall quality of the food has been steadily declining. So, we tried Ahi. The difference is incredible! How can Panda possibly have a better review! Got a free Cali roll with their website coupon and it is the best I’ve had! Will be coming here from now on! 5⁄5 stars for. Every aspect of service: D
