Native Dreams Day Spa & Full Service Salon

Worst place to go, didn’t even have the decency to give a call back when they didn’t seem busy at all. I highly DONT recommend this place.

I received a gift certificate last year for a Dream Day Package at Native Dreams in the Viejas Outlet Center. 5 Star! I have been there before but never for all the spa treatments. The owner Tangerine is an amazing and positive person promoting overall health and well being through the environment of the Spa and the nature of her employees. I was greeted with a cup of hot tea that was offered throughout the day. Every treatment I had was amazing. My nails are beautiful and they allow enough time in between treatments to truly relax. The Spa is immaculate and just the right size for comfort and relaxation. A 5 star experience with top notch people. Worth a trip or a gift that will thoroughly be enjoyed !!! Kudos to Tangerine who is not only the owner but an amazing manicurist! Thanks for a great day!

I went in with my daughter and god daughter a couple of days after Christmas. The salon was quiet but the staff was excellent. Friendly, offering us tea, coffee, water. We got their holiday special of peppermint pedicures. The pedicures were great, though a little on the pricey side as pedicures go. $ 55 was the special price but they gave us a 10% discount for being first time customers. On the down side they only had 2 spa chairs and 1 technician, so we had to take turns. On the positive side the staff chatted us up and kept us entertained so we didn’t really mind. Fortunately we were not in a hurry.
I would go back for some of the spa packages they have, but probably would not be a regular because the prices for basic services are quite a bit higher than I usually pay.
We only had pedicures, no other services.

This would be my third time visiting this spa. I had an 80 minute swedish massage and classic manicure and pedicure. I had arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and was seated in a separate waiting room for over 30 minutes! As much as I wanted to walk out I tried to bite my tongue as I sipped on my hot tea, browsing a horoscope/​birthday book. Finally, Brenda greeted me and apologized for running late. Because she was running late, my assessment prior to my massage was rushed. They offer doterra essential oils/​blends but with an addition of $ 35– a bit to steep for me. Immediately after Brenda began working her magic, I fell asleep and even caught myself snoring a few times. oops! I would have to say that it was one of the best massages I have ever received. I knew Brenda was an energy healer after experiencing my massage– turns out she is a reiki master!
After giving me water, she spoke to me about my concerns from the initial assessment and I was impressed by her knowledge.
Next I had my classic manicure and pedicure with Julie, whom of which greeted me when I first walked into the salon. Her professionalism and eagerness for customer satisfaction is apparent by looking at the care and detail she puts into her work. My nails look fabulous!

I went to Native Dreams for a pedicure recently. I have to say, being a small business owner in the beauty industry (I’m an Esthetician, specializing in eye lash extensions) that this was one of my more pleasant salon experiences I’ve had. I had a little wait before they were ready for me and the owner Tangerine went out of her way several times to make sure I was comfortable. She offered me reading materials and refreshments and checked on me a few times to make sure I was happy. She was very thoughtful and you really feel that she cares about you being comfortable.
The salon is IMPECCABLY clean and inviting. It is a very modern salon w/​a warm feel to it. The staff was extremely welcoming and always had a smile on their faces! The pedicure I rec’d from Julie was fantastic. She was sweet, personable and did exactly what I asked. My toes looked great and I STILL have them looking nice and it’s been over a month now!
Thanks so my ladies at Native Dreams Day Spa! I will definitely be coming back for sure and I highly recommend them!

Rethink spending your hard earned money and time at this Spa. When issues/​concerns brought to the owner Tangerine, she ignored having to address them. She did not respond to telephone calls and finally a certified letter addressed directly to her. Unprofessional and not a place I would recommend. There are so many wonderful SPAs in San Diego, I would recommend any of them in comparison to this place.

Save your $$$. When concerns brought to owner Tangerine several months ago, she failed to respond. There are so many SPAs that operate professionally, this one does not.

Just had a massage from Ray. I am super relaxed! He applied perfect pressure and did everything that I wanted. He is also very professional and courteous. If you haven’t experienced a male massage therapist, you should try Ray.

Great service… Will definitely do it again! Thank you Ray and Tangerine. Best massage by far (although too short but definitely going to make an appointment.

My last visit was a disaster. Brianne called me about two weeks later to offer me a free facial treatment but I never returned the call. Here’s what happened.
I liked my original aesthecian, but after my second visit I got a different one. And she did a great job but didn’t get her for my fourth visit. I got a different person who didn’t know anything about me or what I was there for. She was personable and somewhat knowledgable, but she didn’t have my treatment that I scheduled 6 weeks prior. What a disappointment. The receptionist made me feel akward after I told her what happened. Another problematic issue was their product line. I ordered and purchased a skin care line from their store. After I brought it home, I noticed that the skin refresher/​toner was only water and since the price was not on the bottle, I don’t know how much I was charged for a 6 oz bottle of H2o. The sun block main ingredient is the same ingredients as baby rash ointment that I paid around 40 dollars for. Ugh, I didn’t feel right about calling to complain after the way the receptionist acted. Not going back. I’m sure there was a serious mix up with the last appointment, but I felt ripped off with the skin care products.

I come at least 2x month for massages. I have tried all the masseuses and they are ALL awesome! They are so good I cancelled my massage envy membership and only come here! Good price, always on time, listen to what you want, and I walk out feeling amazing! Extra things I have tried: deep blue muscle relaxing cream, Vietnamese cupping treatment, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and my favorite part is the head massage at the end. They are all super sweet and caring, and I leave feeling happy!

Went in to get a double process to get dark color hair changed to lighter with highlights cut and style. Kristina took care of me and was awesome!

Got my nails done today by Tangerine and I absolutely love them! They look great and I love the selection of colors! Her customer service was excellent always had me laughing but kept it in a timely manner. Will definitely make the drive from El Cajon to here for her.

I have been here in the past with my boyfriend for a massage and facial. They were both relaxing and great!
I was staying at the hotel this past weekend for an event and needed my hair styled. I called the salon and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. My stylist, Fiona was so friendly and knowledgeable! I have really long hair and she had me finished in 30 minutes… it looked AMAZING! Not only that, but my hair stayed curled for the next 2 days! Usually when someone curls my hair it falls later that evening. :(
I will definitely be going back!

I get my haircut with Fiona every other friday and my sons hair every month. She always does a great job and gives the best scalp massage with a hot face towel for $ 18. I feel so refreshed.
The spa is very clean. I’ve gotten massages by Brianne and she works out all of my knots. The prices and quality r amazing! Fiona has given me pedicures before, and does a great job but I’m super ticklish so I don’t get them done too often

A very nice discovery in the ghost town of a mall that is the Viejas Center. We were referred to this spa while on a weekend trip to the new Viejas Hotel (see my review). Very nice spot, reasonable prices and very cool and professional nail techs make this a 5 star experience.
WHEN YOU GO– it is a haul to get here but if you’re staying at the hotel, this is your spa option. They offer hair aroma therapy and several other spa options in addition to mani/​pedis. Go see my new friend, the lovely Tessa for an amazing pedi today!

From the owner to the staff to the merchandise. .its all awesome. I cant convey how pleased I am with this spa. My tastes for spas has certainly been raised alot higher after having gone here.
If you want native paintings… they have those here also.
I really like this place. This is where I take my girl for pampering.

Native Dreams is a very peaceful and wonderful salon. I’ve had a facial, massage, and my hair all done here and I’ve had great experiences with each. When my stylist moved to this salon, I was very hesitant about the drive, but it’s totally worth it. Tangerine is always so great with her customers and is a great spa owner. Kristina has been doing my hair for years but I am so glad to see her in as lead stylist because she is great at what she does.
Overall, if you’re in the area or live in East County, Native Dreams is a great choice.

Decided to treat my girlfriend to a «Spa Day» for her birthday this year and I was comparing different places around San Diego. We decided to make a weekend of it and go to the Viejas Resort, stay at the resort, etc. I also decided that I might as well enjoy the same spa services as well. It would be a first for some of the services. I called and inquired about the «World’s Best Day Spa» Package which included a Swedish massage, a facial and then a manicure/​pedicure. It’s quite the package and the price is discounted than if you were to buy all three services separately.
Everything took approximately 5 hours! We really did spend most of the day there. I don’t remember everyone’s names but everyone was professional and personable. We even met the owner at the end and she was very concerned that our day would go smoothly. What service! If you get the itch to spoil yourself for a day, this is the place to do it, they will take care of you! If you do the huge spa day package like we did, call ahead, book early, try to be flexible and realize that it is a lot of services. You will be glad you went!

I have worked here for a few months now and I LOVE IT! It is luxurious and affordable so all my clients could follow me, and LOVE coming here. It is the most sanitary place I have worked in and each service comes with a complementary one. All hair services come with a neck and shoulder massage and nail services come with nail art of your choice. Highly recommended for everyone!
