I’m not sure what the excitement is about this place. All I have to say is Where’s the meat? Very skimpy on the meat. Fine for vegetarians I guess.

Their San Antonio Chili is awesome, one of the best on the Southside.

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon. I recently moved into the area and was tired of going to chain sub places. I was taken back at how awesome this place is! Friendly, very clean, and fast. Food is made to order on fresh bread and meat is sliced in front of you! They have a bigger selection of subs and home made soup! This is truly a gem!(Just wish they had whole pickles).

Tried the Spokane sandwich yesterday and it was awesome. Totally not the type of sandwich I would ever consider. Wanted to try something different and glad I did. Now I need to try another one of their crazy subs.

I stopped in based on a video review I saw. I must say… One of the best sub sandwiches I ever had. Don’t let the looks of the place fool you. Yes, the location isn’t the greatest, but the food is worth the hassle getting in and out of the parking lot.

I’ve gone here numerous times and always have great customer service from the blonde woman who greets me to the owner who makes my orders. I’ve never had a problem up until now. I was trying to order some sandwhiches for delivery and my phone number didn’t come up in the system, the girl who I was speaking to started yelling at me and when I asked to speak to someone else she said no she takes the orders. I asked to please speak to the owner; and she HUNGUP! Wow. I will never order from here again what happened to customer service. I’m paying for food that helps keep your pay check coming. This place has really turned for the worse.

Just ordered todat because I seen the menu on my work counter. I thought why not because I didnt want any fast food. I ordered the roast beef and it was perfect. The meat was nice and pink, and I love that I can add pickles. Not many places do that. My boyfriend ordered the Chicago and he’s a meat & cheese type of man, so it was a winner. Definitely will order here in the future!

I was shocked at how great this place is! My boyfriend was going there often for a sandwich when I was at work. He kept suggesting we go here, and I was diverting him away for far too long. We came here last Saturday to grab a quick lunch. We both got the turkey and salami sandwich and watched our food made fresh. The people working here were so nice and friendly. Each of our sandwich was custom and the toppings only what we wanted. My boyfriend has also said that he’s been later at night before they closed and saw them dumping out the ingredients to start fresh the next day. I really believe they only use fresh and high quality ingredients for their food. Since I have lived nearby for over three years, I only disappointed I didn’t try them sooner. Support local business and skip the subway across the street for Sub Cities. This place is great and locally owned so I would definitely be back for more!

First things first, this is a local business and I love supporting local shops and restaurants. Although, their parking lot is a bit of a pain to get into at times(due to the fact its on a very busy street) it is worth the hassle. Not only do they have an outstanding selection and combination of sandwiches, the prices are outstanding and cheap. There is a Jimmy Johns right across the street which I use to attend quite often; but after finding this gem i’ll never go back. They taste better than Jimmy Johns, and their prices are way cheaper(by about $ 3). If you’re in a bit of a hurry, you can call them and ahead of time and place an order for pick up. However, if you’re in the area and can’t leave work, they also offer a delivery service. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that it is a double business. As of late, they owner(who use to also own a train shop) had taken the left over train product and place them in the sandwich shop. Granted its not too annoying to me, but some customers might be disinclined to return after seeing the clutter.

Great local business with amazing quality in deli selections! Saw an ad/article for Sub Cities in the local city newspaper, and as I continue in my month long pledge to support local businesses, decided to check this place out. It is located off of a busy Cicero street in a small shopping area. The inside is very clean and nice, and everyone behind the counter was great to talk to. Various selection of different deli sandwiches. I had a turkey sub w/cheese, and it was very good. The bread was soft and yummy, and the meat and all the condiments were very fresh. Total for the sandwich was under $ 5! If you need something different from Subway and Jimmy John’s, please check out and support this local business because they are great!
