If you’ve never tried poor dog you should. All their food is made fresh and the garlic fries are absolutely the best around. Go try today and you will not be disappointed. They are reasonably priced and so far everything on the menu is just absolutely great. They have great submarine sandwiches, in their meals deals are real good and really price the right way. And if you don’t want to have it for takeout they have enough booth in the restaurant that you can stay and eat in side.

Best in town! I love their chicken tenders and they’re burgers are so good! They have the best fries I have ever had anywhere nearby. Their salads are also delicious. The workers are fast and extremely kind and the food isn’t even that expensive either like nickys down the street! I come at least once a week and my food is always made fresh, I’ve never been disappointed with these guys.

Arrived just before closing on a Sunday. The workers/​owners were very accommodating and stayed open to take care of my order. Tasty and plentiful gyros plate and good cheeseburgers. Will definitely return to try more.

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews.
Shrimp was over fried and just not tasty. The fries were not worth eating, so they were tossed. Not good to waste food or money for this meal.
Hubs ate the Italian beef, plenty of meat but it was bland.

Great food, great prices. Their beef sandwich is cheaper than a lot of nearby options, and they really load it up with beef. Their gyro salad is also a great option, but my favorite item from here is the Souvlaki. Souvlaki is a Greek-​style shish kebab with just meat, and they’re only $ 1.50/stick!

This place is good. Good food for a good Price. People behind the counter are always nice and polite. Been here many times and never a problem. Tried many different things on menu and no complaints at all. Would give 5-​stars if they delivered.

Love this place. Good price for the amount of food you get. Always made fresh and never disappointed in whatever I have ordered. My favorite by far is the chicken on pita, love their grilled chicken! The brothers are always nice and never have gotten a phone order wrong! Definitely my place of choosing over Nickys now! =)

Best Chicago Style food joint! I have lived in Chicago my whole life and this by far tops all! Great food, friendly people, fast, and clean! LOVE LOVE LOVE. We eat here pretty often and the kids love eating inside too!

Finally!!! Discovered this place from my grandparents thank god, the brothers always make the food fast and fresh when there not cooking there cleaning these guys are hard workers that make good burgers, hotdogs, gyros and much much more!!! CHECK IT OUT

Cant believe no reviews yet, so here goes… Typical Chicago style hot dog stand, only better. Everything is made fast and fresh, the three brothers who own it work like crazy to get it done. When they are not cooking, they are cleaning. Gyros are outstanding, foot long is second best I ever had, and the chicken on a pita is awesome. Pretty simple, chicken, pita, lettuce and sauce, but it tastes unbelievable every time. Any of the subs blows away subway and JJ. I work in Alsip and I used to go to Nicky’s, but this place is my go to place now. Never had a bad experience

Solid fast food. Make it right there while you wait, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwich, and Beef Sandwich are all good.
