We all know Stater Bros. But Ive been going to this one for awhile. This store is different since it does NOT have a bakery but it does have baked goods. This store is slightly smaller but same friendly staff. You will see lines at any store but i have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. What Many have said and I agree, its a little tight in this store. When you enter in either entrances you have tight spaces to get around the head of the store. It feels very much like the parking lot outside in that you must check your blind spots and be a defensive driver/shopper. I often pick up steaks and chicken and everyone is helpful, if you ever have any questions the staff is quick and attentive. If i had to be really picky id say i wish they had their delicious albacore tuna salad available more often. Otherwise i enjoy this store very much and how quick they get me out on a regular basis.

…Because when people do a good job they deserve recognition! Darrell in the meat department is beyond deserving of praise! Darrell is always so polite and very helpful any time I make a meat purchase. Thank you for being so friendly. I appreciate exceptional customer service.

Today is New Year’s Eve and this Stater Bros definitely ended 2015 with a BANG! The cashiers are always rude, never acknowledge their customers. Trying to get help from a floor associate is a joke. The only person who is ever courteous and friendly is Darrell(or Darnell) from the Meat Dept. From now on, I will shop at Ralph’s, they have three stores within a three mile radius, they offer rewards and gas points.

My son bought groceries there including a box of Entenmann’s chocolate donuts. As he was unpacking he noticed the donut box had a small nickel size circular chewed hole on the edge of the box. One of the donuts had been nibbled on also. When I returned the donuts to staters bro I asked to speak to the manager in charge — Delores. When I explained the situation to her she was in denial she told me a kid probably stuck his finger through the box and that they don’t have rodents. She was very unprofessional and told me I needed my receipt to get a refund(insult to injury). She never apologized and gave me attitude! I’ll never shop in this store again!

Just a great place to grocery shop. Prices reasonable, produce and meats excellent, and other stuff you desire in a grocery store ample. Parking nothing to shout about, but better than the one on 4th street or 19th.

This place is a pit! Waiting in line I was entertained by the cashier having a conversation with a customer about how her kids don’t know what a «slut» is. Supervisor came up and wanted to hear the story, too. The bottom of my receipt says, «Your HOMETOWN Grocer!» My hometown wasn’t a sewer!

This place is close to home so it is convenient for me. Most the time I find the appropriate number of registers open for the crowd and wait in lines are reasonable but this is not the case always one of the reasons for 3 and not 5 stars. I’ve never had a problem with the occasional return for an item expiring before the date on the label like a pkg of chicken or gallon of milk or the container of raspberries with mold. Prices are good, fruit and vegetables department is always organized and stocked. Meat department usually looks reasonably good but not great. I suppose one minor inconvenience I find in the store is it seems like sometimes they are doing inventory or stocking with equipment or merchandise blocking the isle at peak times. I’ve never found an issue with cleanliness. Most staff are courteous and appropriate, hence the 3 and not 5 stars again.

It’s smaller and sometimes it feels a bit crowded when it’s busy. BUT! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the produce in the produce section always looks great, and we are big fan’s of the butcher section. Very nice neighborhood grocery store.

This is a crowded location, but the prices are the best. I shop here every week. The ladies who work in the deli/bakery are never happy to help customers and have rolled their eyes at me when ordering a sandwich. Everyone else has been very kind and helpful.

This store could use 1⁄3rd more space because it is very small and crowded. My main positive note is the butcher department, despite the crowded path, they really do look forward to helping you and continously ask«who’s next». The college assistant clerk helped me out with a special request to have my boneless breast cleaned and fillet in half for grilling, she did so well handling knife, I doubled up. I also let her choose bone in rib eye steaks(3) with good marbling. Well stocked with fresh cuts but unfortunately I get my sea food items down the street. Location is extremely busy with commercial retail space including Chase Bank, Carl’s Jr, Liquor Store and a variety of businesses all sharing same parking lot. Kudos to senior butcher at Staters who runs a tight crew, diversified and attentive.

I fed my family for 20 years from this store. They have alway treated me so kindly and I love the atmosphere. The prices are great and the produce is very fresh. I will always have the fondest memories and the greatest things to say about this Stater Bros.

I asked them to cut some bones for Emeril’s beef broth recipe and they said no! Will not be doing business with them any longer.

We typically shop at Sprouts but needed a roast for Christmas. I have been through so many stores looking for good meat, then we stumbled on Stater Bros. The meat department was large, not quite as large as a Whole Foods but they had a good selection. They also had a REAL butcher, some old timer that came out and educated us on meat– how to cook and cut. We took his advice and prepared two delicious roasts this Christmas season. We will definitely return!

This location is not a location for you to run in and pick up a few items and get out in a hurry. The prices are good and its generally crowded. The checkers seem overworked and while some are friendly, others seem tired and uninterested in their jobs. The aisles are crowded when compared to Ralphs or Albertsons so sometimes you have to maneuver your cart around others. It does have a fine selection of products at reasonable prices, but they really should expand the store.

I shop here once in while when they have meat on sale. Sometimes they have ribeye steaks for 4.99/lb which is a super deal. I like the marinated carne asada and the porterhouse steaks. All go on sale, so I usually get whatever is on sale. The rest of the store has decent prices but is crowded. Small aisles and not enough room by the check outs so that customers in line block the aisles creating more congestion. The store just doesn’t have the room for the amount of traffic it gets. I heard they are going to build a new store on Day Creek which should take away some of the traffic at the Alta Loma store.

I’m not a fan of the layout of Stater Bros. My main objective would be to run in and run out. I don’t like how you can’t feel relaxed when you are shopping here. The aisles feel cramped and two carts can’t easily fit side by side and you can’t get around people. If you don’t believe me, try coming here on a Sunday at noon. It’s actually pretty frustrating and then the lines at the registers are so long, they start curving. My advice is to come early in the morning or later in the evening to do your shopping.(but sometimes you just need to buy something during peak hours.) The things I do buy here are meats(when on sale), fruits/vegetables, King’s Hawaiian rolls, CoffeeMate, and condiments. At least you don’t need a rewards card or anything here(like Ralph’s or Vons) All other things… I go to Trader Joe’s or Costco. 21⁄100 Reviews for 2014
