I honestly don’t even know where to start. My wife and I were here for 6 month before we broke out lease. The apartments are old, for the most part the grounds are kept. The trash area tends to overflow quickly. Staff is pretty friendly so that was a plus. We rented a 2 bed 2 bath town home. Our first initial walk through the place was pleasant when Britney showed it to us. We moved in and things were ok for a couple weeks, then we started noticing the carpet was starting to wear quickly, you could tell it was old, cheap and bleached a million times when you had your shoes off. It’s an apartment so what can you expect? They try to save as much money as they can. Now the AC was a HUGE killer for us. Because the system is so old, it was extremely loud inside the apartment and at times it would rattle! These apartments aren’t insulated very well, the AC constantly ran during the summer. In past apartments our electric bill would run $ 70-$ 90 a month in the summer, here it ran us $ 130! I spent less on the house that I own!(I also rent out properties) we had some issues with the AC leaking into the carpet upstairs and maintenance was fairly quick about it. It took them a couple weeks to find and fix the problem after trial and error. We gave them more than 30 day notice, and we were never given the option for a pre move out inspection like most places offer.(I offer them with my properties) we received out disposition of deposit and they said we owe money after our $ 500 deposit. Majority of the cost was for paint! We were there 6 months! And they are trying to charge me for full paint. I patched all the holes from pictures and wall hangings. All that needed to be done was spot painting. Under California State Consumer Affairs, a landlord is not allowed to charge for paint when it’s normal wear and tear, it clearly states that on the CA consumer affairs website. ALWAYS do some research on an apartment before committing. Friendly staff, Old apartment, out of date cooling/heating systems, breaking a lease cost 2 months rent, that’s NOT on top of the months rent you owe. 9÷24÷15− after contacting management to dispute the charges for the full paint, it was finally resolved which makes me happy! I still stand by everything I said above, it’s an unfortunate situation that it came down to upper management having to take a 2nd look at the«renovations» needed. I really hope they take into consideration about the AC system, it took a couple weeks to get used to the noise level and the fact it vibrated the upper floor and some walls.

This place sucks. They recently put a new parking policy into effect. There were a good amount of visitor parking spots before this happened. They took about 30 spaces for the 500 some odd residents, and made it into 6 – 7 spaces. And if you don’t live here and are in a spot, you get towed. RIDICULOUS. Idiocy to FORCE house holds with 2DRIVING people 1 space, forcing the other to fight for a spot hoping not to get towed by the VERYPLACE they’re paying to live. Disgusting.

My wife and I walked in to get a quote. The lady in there was on the phone stayed on for the next 3 minutes while we waited with our 2 year old daughter. She did not care that we were in there just waiting. She finally got off the phone and seemed bothered we interrupted her conversation on the phone and didn’t seem very helpful she then offered to show us any of the apartments or discuss any of the floorplans and seem very bothered that we would step foot into her leasing office. Very bad for business
