My review: 2÷13÷2013 Check your food! They forget food and get it wrong all the time. Even if you order it plain, that is a common hassel that they get wrong time and time again. And complaining and bringing things to their attention is pointless. Nothing ever changes. OH and be sure to tell them fresh fries, otherwise you will always get old cold fries. UPDATE: 3 years later and nothing has changed.

I can’t believe I’m about to review a McDonald’s, but the picture I have in my head is still such a good one that I just had to record it for posterity. And especially because Unilocal for many people, including myself, is sort of a haphazard scrapbook of places we’ve been, things we’ve done, meals we’ve scarfed down. Stopped in one night on my regular commute because I needed to use the restroom and I was hungry. The last time I stopped by a McDonald’s I was less then happy with the place, so this time I figured I’d pick a place earlier off of I-70. I walk in, and the place is BUSTLING. At around 7PM on a Sunday night. Really, almost every table was full. Not by families, mind you, but by two groups of people: Senior citizens and Deer Hunters(and yes, it was first season weekend). And it was just like middle school, the senior citizens all on one side and the deer hunters on the other, and they all swiveled around to look at me entering and making a beeline to the restroom. It was great. I wonder what it’s like when it’s not deer season. Oh and yeah, the food is like every other McDonald’s in the country.
