A decent cupcake, minus the too-sweet aftertaste. If you’re interested in something other than the brownies, popcorn, and frozen yogurt at the mall — but still need a sweet treat to complete your shopping extravaganza — the stop by Kup of Cake. Today I tried the lemon strawberry cupcake for about $ 3 and was satisfied. It was cold when I took my first bite, which told me the cupcake had been stored overnight so there was no moistness to the cake itself, but it was still a decent cupcake. The owner, in her testimonial on the counter, commits to fresh ingredients, but the filling immediately reminded me of Smucker’s Jelly. There are small and large cupcakes to enjoy and it looked like they do a great job on any cake orders you may have, but I was looking for something to really blow my mind. This was more like lighting a fuse that petered out in the end.

This place has the best FRESHANDNATURAL cupcakes. Glad to see a place that doesn’t use artificial stuff. Props to the owner!!!

It’s nice to see this little store in Altamonte mall, hopefully they will add more stuff to it, it feels a bit empty when you walk into the store. I tried few of their cupcakes, price is a bit higher which probably was a result of high rent inside the mall. My taste buds found these cupcakes to be average, they were good but not my favorites. I do like their mini ones which allow me to try different ones without buying so many big cupcakes.

Had the salted caramel and peanut butter chocolate chip mini cupcakes. The icings on cupcakes were perfection but the cakes were not so moist.

I stopped by after visiting a Kup of Cake at the farmers market a few months ago. I’m so happy they’ve finally opened their own shop. I picked up a few vanilla cupcakes and they were perfection. Everyone who was working was really nice and let me try some samples. I doubt that anyone would«throw» a container at a customer. Seems a bit exaggerated to me. Definitely worth the drive from Orlando to Altamonte :)

The service was poor. I asked for a container to house my cupcake, as I was giving it to a friend. The cashier threw the container at me. As I stood in astonishment the cashier asked — «what you do not want it ?». I informed her that I did want the container but did not appreciate the way she threw it at me. The clerk then proceed to ask if I wanted to join their customer rewards/loyalty program. Ordinarily I would have asked for a full refund. However from the second rate service and poor quality of the cupcake(the cake was thick, tasteless and dry)… My bet is they wont be in business long.

Stopped here quickly for a sweet treat. There were not many options. The place seemed a little shoddily put together. I ordered 6 mini cupcakes to go, plus 1 more mini to eat. I tried Butterbeer, Dark chocolate with french vanilla icing, lemon drop, and coconut kiwi. All cupcakes were dry and tasted a bit old. The lemon drop had great flavor. I did not enjoy the coconut kiwi; it had no flavor of coconut. Butterbeer was alright, but not quite as strong as I’d have liked. Glad I got to try a butterbeer cupcake but definitely wouldn’t return.

Today I had to stop by and try their piña colada cupcake. They only had one mini left. Well, it was mine! Really moist, taste delicious! I will be back.
