Batteries Plus Bulbs

I spoke to the owner Patrick yesterday about my recent experience in Batteries Plus. He apologized for the experience I had and assured me that he is talking to his staff about improving the customer service in the Altamonte location. I appreciate Patrick for taking the time to call me to discuss how he plans on preventing future experiences like mine.

While shopping for light bulbs or batteries may not be high on your list, I have to say I love going to this store. This one is close to my office so I’ll pop out if I need batteries for our many devices at work or if I need something for personal use. It may not be the cheapest, but the employees there are really knowledgeable about the products. If it’s an odd battery or light, I just walk in there, hand them what I have and say I need this. And they always know what it is. Yesterday I went in thinking I needed a new battery for my garage door opener. Now, they could have just sold me a new battery. Nope, they test them first. Stan tested the battery and said there was nothing wrong with it and wouldn’t feel right selling me a new one for no reason. One time I went in there looking for a blacklight for Halloween decorations. They have them but the sales guy told me what they had in stock probably wouldn’t help me and told me to check Spencer’s. If you don’t feel like hunting down a battery or light bulb, go here and they will hook you up!

The battery charger sold to me ruined a new battery and they took no ownership and just told me they could sell me a new battery. Went down the street and got some real service — stay away if you appreciate service and a company that stands behind what they sell. Move on down the street —
