I think rent is a bit overpriced(but I suppose that’s everywhere), mostly because they force you to pay for services(valet trash, basic cable TV, and soon to be Wi-Fi) that you cannot opt-out of. These are categorized as «fees» on your monthly statement, but they may as well be grouped into the rent since they are fixed, sunk costs; there’s no way to get out of these costs even if you don’t want/use the services. They do not include these costs in the rent that they advertise on their website and other apartment-finder websites — you actually won’t see the expenses until you are applying for an apartment. Apparently this is some marketing/advertising strategy property owners are using to make rent seem lower than it actually is. I’m pretty big on honesty and transparency, but you be the judge on how ethical that marketing strategy is. Admittedly, when I called and inquired about an available apartment, they state the total rent including the services(as opposed to just the base rent indicated on the website). You can pay your rent online, but that is limited to checking accounts only(no credit cards). The community appears to be clean and quiet for the most part, and relatively easy on the eyes. But be careful navigating through the parking lot because there are impatient residents who will make left turns as you are approaching instead of waiting for you to pass. I think the location is really great; It’s within a quarter mile of a Publix, within 1 – 2 miles of Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and many other stores and restaurants. I think the rent is pushing it as it is, and the renewal rate will likely be ridiculous for what you’re getting/forced to get.

Absolutely in love with this complex. The grounds are always kept up and very nice. The awesome maintenance guys are always on top of things, and cleaning up after themselves. The office staff is great as well. I love that there are TWO pools, gym, and a racquetball court. They are currently doing something in the gym(don’t know if it’s going to be a basketball court but if so that would be awesome). I just hope they get some remodeling done inside the apartments sometime soon(I can totally wait if they do) because then the apartments would be absolutely perfect. The prices do jump up in the fall(college) but I ended up getting the perfect price in May. Can’t wait to renew my lease in a couple weeks.

My girlfriend and I really love this apartment a lot more than we thought we would. Moving in, we noticed how extremely clean and taken care of it was. We usually have to re-clean a place when moving in, but this was not needed. We were going to live at the Camden in downtown, but this was way cheaper, bigger, and 10 – 15 minutes from downtown. The gated fence is a plus and makes us feel safer. I’ve noticed this is a big dog community which is nice… kitties too! We haven’t seen any crime or problems so far, and mostly college students to middle aged people living here. It is a very convenient location to Walmart, Target, Publix and multiple restaurants and schools/colleges. We always see maintenance being done on the property which is a good thing. Nice gym and pool. The only thing we don’t like are the outdated cabinets but even those are in good condition and not a big deal. So far, this is my favorite place I’ve lived though.
