If you aren’t a regular don’t expect good service. I walked in on ladies night this week. There was only one server on the floor. I sat down at a table and she waited on one table for about 10 minutes, didn’t even look up to see if anyone else had a drink/​needed a drink. Then she went behind the bar and chatted up the bartender and bar back/​bouncer? 15 minutes in she finally did notice me sitting without a drink and came over. I asked if there were any specials, she said «no?» like she wasn’t sure if there were any. The bartender and the one server looked about 18. Which translates to chatting each other up and ignoring the customers. I had one domestic bottled beer and then moved on after about an hour of being there. Ladies night from 9−10pm — 14 people in the place, 4 were women. Not so great.

It’s a typical sports bar, that being said… Ordered the sampler platter which was all clearly frozen and from a bag. (Mozz sticks, egg rolls, chicken tenders zucchini sticks, French fries& egg rolls) egg rolls clearly had freezer burn, and the fried zucchini was so bland it tasted like nothing. sports bar beer selection. Mostly all domestics, bud lite, coors lite etc. inside was full of cigarette smoke. Staff and service was excellent though. Would be a good bar to come to if you just want a cheap beer. They had sandwiches and burgers on the menu as well… We will probably just stay clear of the food and just stick to beer next time.

Fun cheap bar with excellent drink specials. Kareoke is cool. Servers are always nice. I was going to give it three stars for 2 reasons. One is the inside is ridiculously smoked out at all times. Im a smoker myself yet find it to be overwhelming. When we go we always sit outside. Its right off a nice lake. The place is kind of divey for such a nice outside area. The 2^nd downside is the food is pretty average at best. I envision mostly microwaved or deep fried. Its cheap enough though to justify a bite or two. I think i had one of those mama celeste pizzas which are like 99 cents at walmart when I ordered a pizza. Pretty dissapointing. Fried pickles were soggy. I gave it 4 stars because the service is good and the drink specials are really good.

I might be a little biased because my Dad used to come here a lot. Stopped by to have a drink and reflect. Bob was pretty picky about table fare too. I’ve had sandwiches here twice & both times the service was fast and friendly. The food was better than expected. First time was a burger & fries cooked the way I ordered medium) and got what I asked for instead of the expected med-​well

Cheer is a fun local bar! It is walking distance from my house. They have hospitality specials, which I greatly appreciate! Also, on Saturdays they have Karoake, very fun. I enjoy the back porch. It is open and looks out onto the lake. They have pool tables and dart boards as well. The bartenders are great!

Crappy beer selection, very smokey, and way too crowded if poeple are trying to play pool. Not the place for me!

Music could use some work but aside from that a great spot to hang with drink specials.

I’ve been here more times than I care to admit for karaōke (which they do every Saturday). The drink specials here are always great, with $ 1 drinks on some nights, even on weekends. Even without specials, their prices are quite good. The staff remembers your name when you come in, which is always nice to have. Drinks are mixed well. Food here is excellent for bar food, my favorite being the potato skins. Pool tables are nice, and the back deck they have is great if you want to get away from the noise inside when it gets busy there.

I work in the hospitality industry so customer service is very important to me. I’ve been going to Cheers Altamonte for a little while now and there’s def something about it that draws you in. In my personal opinion they have amazing Tater tots That’s all I’ve ever tried at this point. But I will follow up as soon as I explore the menu more. Everybody does know my name (this won’t happen the 1^st time you go) The staff is AMAZING! SteveO is probably the funniest most entertaining person who has ever poured me a drink. Jamie is another great tender of the bar, so sweet and customer service driven. I could name everyone and write about why they ROCK! But I’m kind of lazy, so we’ll just go with the 2 that worked the last time I was in there. Honestly I could write a lot more about this place but all in all I go here for Customer service. You always are least greeted within the first few seconds of sitting down. Your drink will never go empty and the people who work here really have passion. And they have the best SPECIALS. Ladies drink FREE on Tuesday’s, They claim it’s the longest ladies night in town! Also another great benefit this place offers to it’s patrons is a packaging licensee. So if the party must go on and on till the break of dawn? at last call you can pick up a bottle of «Goose» and then go home and get loose!

Whoa, Melinda M. — $ 1 domestic drafts here??? I think I may need to come in here more often, then!
I’ve only been to this location a handful of times, and haven’t been since a friend of mine moved out of the adjacent apartment complex, but I’d like to check it out again sometime soon. We used to have a lot of fun here. I especially enjoyed the outdoor area out back.
Worth a shot if you’re close-​by and want to stop in for a drink, especially if Melinda’s correct about domestic drafts being $ 1!!! At the Cheers in Longwood, I think they’re $ 2.25. I’ve never eaten at this location, so I can’t comment about any of that.

Dart boards, pool tables, a deck on the water, other fun games, cool bartenders and hot shot girls! Did I mention $ 1 domestic drafts?! Oh yeah!
I’ve come here on and off for the past 10 years, but just recently came back for a visit after almost a five-​year break. No surprise, but nobody «knew my name». A return visit though an d what do you know? They did! I’m impressed! Either the staff is really good or my friends are really obnoxious and memorable as a result. Maybe a little bit of both!
Anyway, it’s a good time. Gets kind of crowded too. The only downside … the ALTAMONTE POLICE like to sit in the parking lot. I don’t condone drinking and driving, but that really sucks for the business.
