The are plenty of TVs and the staff was willing to change the channel for the TV in front of our table. The food was solid. Try the truffle fries.

This is a great regular stop for us. I appreciate the gluten free menu and offerings, the weekday specials, and the Tito’s drinks(which are included in the two for one menu)! Food is consistently good, and any issues have been promptly and efficiently resolved. Servers are usually ok – mostly attentive and knowledgable of the restaurant’s offerings. The loyalty program is good, and it’s easy to rack up rewards. Good spot for easy, casual, no stress lunch or dinner.

I like Duffy’s a lot. They have all the time 241 drink specials and a very good rewards program for frequent diners.

What an unmatched atmosphere. Love the setup and such great prices, food and service. The manager, looked like an Irish fellow, was awesome and clearly enthusiastic and passionate about his store/job. Made it look like it wasn’t even work for him. Was stopping by every now and then asking how everything was and chattin it up with everyone. Server was keeping drinks re filled. It was a great time

As was stated in other reviews slow service and mediocre food. We were«greeted» at the door by a girl that barked«follow me» when we entered. No smile just walked as quickly as she could across the restaurant. Server barely spent anytime at the table and seemed to be in a rush the whole time. Food came out and it was basic bar food. That is fine if you are paying bar prices, but not when you are paying dinner prices. Only plus to the place is happy hour 2−4−1 drinks all day.

Horrible, worst service I’ve ever had. Everything started out great, hostess was super friendly and knew how to interact with guests, got sat and server came by a few minutes later got drink order and promptly dropped off drinks, I ordered 10 wings breaded mild, surprisingly they came out pretty fast, server checked back asked how wings were, told her they were great. I know what your thinking how is this a bad experience, it went all downhill from there… Our drinks went empty while enjoying the wings, then our food was delivered, pretty sure it was another server he didn’t offer to get us refills or ask if we needed anything else. We waited 8 – 9 more minutes before I finally got up and asked for a refill myself, meanwhile our server has come into the dining room multiple times. Maybe she forgot we were her table idk. I ordered the churrasco skirt steak cooked mr, it was raw basically, it wouldn’t even bleed when cut into but I couldn’t send it back because I had no server. It also took several minutes for the plantains to come out, the manager dropped them off and apologized for the wait then just walked off. Finally she came around had to ask for refill for my girlfriend and the check, finally paid and she asked if we would like a box? Wouldn’t you ask why I didn’t touch my steak? She walked through the dining room 2 – 3 more times before realizing she forgot to give us the Togo boxes. On the way out I handed back the loyalty card you are supposed to fill out on your first visit there, supposedly the server explains that too, didn’t happen. It sucks when you work in the restaurant industry also and your one day off a week you try to go somewhere new and this happens… won’t be a mvp customer here.

Food was decent. The best thing we ordered was the chicken sandwich, which was pretty standard. So much so that my fiancé split it with me when he wasn’t fond of his own lunch. The service was slow and the other food we ordered was inconsistent on multiple visits. We might be back if it’s convenient, but it won’t be our first choice.

Love the mac and short ribs. But they also have a really good lobster bisque soup. I have never had anything Nad in this restaurant. Even when they are crowded the service is fantastic.

Second time here and just like the 1st time, I’m not impressed. Servers are very nice and welcoming, management is visible, however if you want good food, this is not the place for that. This time I ordered the Tex Mex Salad. Originally I ordered it with a buffalo sauce to be tossed in the chicken, sadly it didn’t come out as I ordered. Then as I began to eat the salad, it quickly became a soup from the types of black beans they put on the salad. It almost seemed as if they put a bowl of black bean soup on top of the salad. I’ve attached a picture for you to see the end result. Overall, I am going to continue to AVOID coming here to eat. I think what saves this Restaurant is that they have a bar. So if you want to watch football and kick back some beers, not a bad place to start your day. But definitely not to eat.

Not sure if was an off day but this visit was not good! Burger and buffalo chicken sandwich was so dry. Potato skins had hardly any bacon. Such a shame because I always brag about this specific location. I really didn’t say anything because our waitress had us on a pay no mind list… literally wasn’t that busy. I hope there wasn’t a change in cooks because I’ve never had a bad meal here.

My second time there. Wanted to give it a second try. Food too greasy, the lobster bisque wasnt testing anything as a lobster bisque. I wished this second experience was better but it wasn’t.

Love this place it’s in the same spot where the old Mimi’s was located, place looks totally different besides the back dining area that is still recognizable. Lots of TVs make it great on game day. Staff is real friendly and the menu is typical to most sport bars.(There Burgers are great!) They also have a MVP loyalty card that’s free to sign up and you get points that get you free food! That’s a great way to get people back! Check the place out you won’t regret it!

Great food and good beer! The menu is a little extensive, but I have yet to have anything that is bad. Beer is buy one get one, which is great, I mean two Guinness for $ 8, I’m there! The service is not that good, but the TV selection and food more than makes up for that. I look forward to returning more and trying different menu items.

I very much enjoy Duffy’s. The menu has a large variety and suits many different tastes. My husband gets their Chicken tostada nacho’s every time. He says they remind him of the old Chi Chi ones. I very much enjoy their pork chops and think they taste better than the ones from Outback. The Goat Cheese Salad is their best salad by far.

I came here with the family shortly after they opened. They were crazy busy. We were a group of nine. And we were seated right near an entrance to the kitchen. I got to see some of the amazing dishes that were coming out of the kitchen. Can’t wait to try some of the things that I saw. We tried their wings, stuffed mushrooms, french fries, I had their rib special that evening. Everyone in our group that night really enjoyed all the food. I must say the food was really good. The staff seem to be a little overwhelming that night, but this is understandable since it was grand opening week. Lots of TVs, lots of sports, and a lot of people that night. I will definitely return to Duffys to try some of their delicious food. Really enjoyed the evening there and will definitely return.

Went to Duffy’s expecting typical barfood like an Ale House, and was completely surprised! Not only was the menu extensive and interesting with a lot of different items I can’t wait to come back and try. My husband and I both had burgers, and they were amazing! The primetime burger must be tried — The burger was hand formed and had candied maple bacon, nice and crispy, on top, Delicias housemade pickles, and Siracha ketchup. It came with truffle Parmesan fries which I could eat for days. Crispy, not greasy, with just the right amount of the truffle flavor and a lot of Parmesan cheese. Can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

Last night, I decided to meet my Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law for dinner, and we chose Altamonte’s newest sports bar, Duffy’s Sports Grill. If you haven’t yet been, Duffy’s inhabits what was previously Mimi’s(lousy food, horrible customer service, atrocious management — no surprise they folded), next to Too Jays Deli, Albertsons and Florida Hospital Altamonte. The décor is excellent. They changed the left dining room into a fantastic bar area, and the right dining room is tv city. We were greeted by several pleasant hostesses, but were given no wait time, which I don’t like. We wait 10 – 15 minutes for our 6 top. Not bad for a sports day. Side note: They use direct tv, and the signal was very spotty during a storm, which we obviously get frequently. Bright House would be more sensible, I suspect, as its annoying to lose signal frequently during your game/match. I felt somewhat rushed with ordering. I ordered their 2for1 draft«special» — with no prices on the menu. They charged me $ 8 for my pints, which is okay, but hardly a «special». I also ordered the Bacon Mac N Cheese Burger(price point $ 14.99 with fries). The girls shared a kids burger and fries. Kids menu was very good, with lots of options. However, the server assumed fries and apples and didn’t prompt is to make those decisions for side items. The food arrived quickly, which was nice. The girls enjoyed their burgers very much. The beers came out one at a time, also something I prefer. The burger was mostly a win. The patty was closer to medium well, though I ordered medium. The veggies seemed fresh, the bacon was thick and delicious. The mac wasn’t very cheesy or exciting. I could have skipped that part. The bun was disappointing. It was toasted but still cold, and fell apart on me. The fries were cooled on top, but warm in the middle and bottom of the pile. When I initially got my food, it agitated to have already cooled, but it was just the top fries and the disappointing bun. The girls had desserts. One ordered a build your own cupcake(3 cupcakes, two icings, and gummy bears) and the other ordered build your own sundae(ice cream, gummy bears, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce). Overall, I wasn’t very impressed. I felt it was overpriced. The kids portion was somewhat puny for $ 5. A burger at $ 15 seems high. The beer«special» wasn’t. It felt like an expensive TGI Fridays or Chili’s, and the food isn’t as good. I’m not sure we’ll go back. I did taste my sister-in-law’s choice, the ahi tuna appetizer. It was executed well, but they didn’t have soy sauce.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this new chain in Orlando and this place was packed on a Wednesday night. The first thing the server did when we were seated was ask us if we were in the rewards program. That was cool, but I expected to hear a little more about the food or drinks. She directed us to the menu where we ordered a couple beers. Even though they say that the prices are 2 for 1 on drinks, the prices on the 2 for 1 drinks are higher than normal. I’m not a marketing major, but this seems like good marketing on their part. There were tons of TVs everywhere which is awesome for sports fans. We weren’t there for any specific sporting event that night, but the music was playing at an unbelievably loud volume. I understand that it is a bar, but I couldn’t hear the person next to me talking. As for the food, the fried mushrooms were delicious. Crispy and flavorful. Husband and I both ordered burgers and mine was missing tomatoes and onions but I didn’t worry about bothering the server to fix it since it seemed trivial. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger, but for an $ 18 burger it better be good. He also got the truffle fries which were very tasty. My burger was decent, but nothing to write home about. Thank goodness we signed up for the rewards program because we are already easily more than halfway to our goal of a $ 10 reward. I would like to give this place another try sometime to sample some more menu items.

Came up with co-workers to check out the grand opening. It was very good. Lots of servers on hand to help things run smoothly. I had the soup & salad for $ 5.99 and was very good. Lobster Bisque had chunks of lobster. Napa Valley salad was tasty Coworker had pork chop lunch and he said it was very good Lots of TV’s to watch sports, great selection on the menu reasonably priced. Friendly staff, short wait. Great start! Looking forward to coming back.
