I must counter some negative here… My daughter(10 yrs old) has been seen here for 3 years now, with Dr. Berrocal for the latter 2. The optometrist and staff have always been personable, knowledgeable, and helpful with her/us. I even began with them last year because they were so good with my daughter. My daughter’s glasses have been fine every time, and the staff took time and helped her pick the perfect pairs. I opted for contacts so I have no personal experience with adult glasses. We’ve never waited more than 20 minutes to be seen, and I’ve never seen or overheard staff being rude. I have, however, seen plenty of parents not controlling their children and being pushy with the staff to hurry up(not their fault parents have unruly children). My daughter is well mannered and well behaved, and we are friendly people. The staff here endures a lot from what I’ve seen, why not help them out by controlling your family members and attitudes before you come in.

This place is horrible. The staff is very rude. I went to do a eye exam and when I got my glasses I was seeing blurry, so when I called them they wanted to charge me 49 dollars to see the doctor again. I wasn’t going to pay 49 dollars to see the doctor because if the doctor did the right job why I am seen blurry. I also report them to the Better Business Bureau. Don’t waste your time going in there they take for ever to take care of you and to get your glasses back. I went to vision works and I got my glasses in one hour.

This is not a good place to go for glasses. I will not fault the eye exam itself except that the person giving it was pretty grouchy. As for the frames themselves, the low-priced ones are not very attractive, so I picked two pairs of higher priced ones. A week later I had to take them both back in to be tightened. They are very nice about tightening them, but I was having to take them in at least once a month. Finally I just gave up and bought one of those cords that you pull tight behind your head. That is the only way my glasses would not slip off. The $ 5 readers I previously bought at the Daytona Flea Market lasted a year or more without requiring adjustment, but these rather expensive frames I bought at Optical Outlets are terrible by comparison. One other thing. frames that are less than an inch ‘tall’ are not good candidates for progressive lenses. I wish I would have been advised of this, but a single lens vision would have cost less, enough said. Next time I will not go to an outlet of any kind for glasses.

I got a pair of glasses and after 6 months the lenses got all cloudy and nothing I do to clean them gets them clean… I took them in and they are telling me that it must be a chemical that I work with, their suggestions: hair spray or nail polish remover! What the heck??? I don’t use hair spray and I do not work in a nail salon, so I have no idea what they are talking about… then they said that all they could do is give me a discount, LOL hear this, WITH the discount my new glasses will cost $ 190!!! Whatever, these people are crazy! I am currently using my 4 year old glasses that I bought from Costco(which look brand new compared to the ones from Optical Outlets), so I will be going back to Costco from now on :) Beware of Optical Outlets !!! You have been warned!
