I enjoy being a tenant of R. Russell Properties. They are always quick to respond to any concern or send out a pro to handle any repair. My wife and I are especially gratefully for the care and attention given by our property manager Jacqueline LeBron. Everyone we’ve meet at R. Russell Properties has been extremely nice and professional. I cannot begin to recommend them enough.

R. Russell Properties is a breath of fresh air when it comes to remote property ownership. Being out of state, I can’t keep a personal eye on my property and the R. Russell team keeps me worry-​free. They are very communicative and I never feel out-​of-​the-​loop. I also appreciate their proactive approach to making sure my property is occupied by a well-​qualified tenant. If you use their property management program, you can be sure your house is in good hands. Great team!

After dealing with another property management company, finding R Russell Properties was indeed a pleasure. Cindi Shaffer role models professionalism in all her behaviors, making the rental process for our particular set of needs smooth and efficient. I highly recommend her to all potential customers. By the way, I am writing this review 6 months after we moved in and believe me when I tell you that Cindi has been consistently excellent in handling any issues that arise throughout the time we have been in this rental.

I cannot tell you how EASY R. Russell Properties made it for us to rent our house!!! We rented our first home out after having to move away for business. There are a lot of memories in that little home & we needed someone who understood how important our little house was to us. Jacqueline and the team at R. Russell walked us through the whole process and the house rented for what we felt was a fair price. I would highly recommend these guys for anyone looking to rent their home. I feel like they are honest and trustworthy.

I have been a tenant with them for a few years now.
The staff has always been helpful. I inform them of a problem I get a response right away.
I moved from one property to a larger property and stuck with them because I like them that much.
I’ve recommended my friends to them several times.

UPDATE: I originally posted a negative review of this company after dealing with them (specifically Joe Torres) in fall of 2012. My roommates and I had applied for a condo and were denied by the HOA (for what we felt were unfair reasons — because we were unrelated — and long after the time they had quoted us, so we had already moved onto another property by the time we were even denied). We ended up completely losing our deposit in a situation that was very unjust to us on the part of the HOA.
Mr. Russell reached out to us in February 2014 to let us know that he was battling the HOA to get our money back and promised us an update at a later date. Over the summer he informed us that he was having no luck with the HOA but was willing to return our money to us from his own pocket and continue fighting the HOA to get his money back. This gesture of goodwill speaks volumes about his company’s business practices. Mr. Russell was very pleasant and polite to work with.
The last thing we want to do is hurt a local business that is trying to do the right thing, so I have removed my negative review. While I didn’t agree with the way things were done back in 2012, we are very appreciative of how the situation has been taken care of, and I feel confident recommending R. Russell Properties NOW after seeing the lengths they have gone to to correct the situation. Thanks so much!

Sasha was my property manager for a house that me and my father rented, but barely lived in. We both work out of town a lot so we only lived in it for a few months out of a 1 year lease collectively. The house was from newly built in a new development and since the contractors were the lowest bidders, there were many mistakes that made life miserable. The first day we moved in the circuit breaker would blow within a minute of any light being turned on. The first 4 days living at this house had no AC, no fridge, no power. Bear in mind, this is Orlando, FL. There were doors that would not shut. There were holes in the wall, there were outlets that didn’t work. By the time me and my father moved out a year later, only a handful of problem were ever fixed.
Not only were they unresponsive with repairs, but they would continually lose checks and enforce their draconian late fee policy which charged 30+ dollars for everyday late. It got to the point where I would drive 30+ minutes all the way to altamonte in order to physically hand the check to the receptionist in order to make sure I wasn’t getting ripped off.
My calls were rarely answered and when they were, they were curt and unfriendly. I would say avoid this place like the plague.
