Sampled some tea in Vegas during their sale but didn’t have enough room in my luggage to bring it back. Was going to order online but I’m a «now» type of person so I just drove to the mall. The front desk girls appeared to be busy… talking to each other so I waited until they were done with their conversation when the girl asked me what I needed as if I was bothering her. I told her the flavor which they had in stock however she made me purchase 4 oz instead of the 2 oz I came in for since that’s the stores minimum. Again I checked the website before I went in which allowed me to purchase 2 oz but I was already there so I bought the tea and was upsold a canister to keep it fresh =/and rock sugar to sweeten it. $ 35 later I have tea to last me for months but once it runs out I’m going to just order online. It wouldn’t hurt the sales girls to be friendlier and at least act like they like their jobs when they’re there. I mean tea is suppose to relax you right?

I’ve been too other Teavanas in New York and I can say I was honestly taken aback by the service I experienced. I went in to get a drink and show family the store and was rudely told that I couldn’t take a sample on my own even though the salesperson was currently talking to another customer. I went in and ordered my drinks and they were weak and within 10 minutes turned watered down. The other customer in the store was also shocked by the salesperson, especially considering she also knows what type of service she was accustomed to receiving when she shopped in New York! Overall I would NEVER go back to this location and they need to retract customer service and how to brew drinks strong enough to keep the taste when the ice starts to melt!

Great variety of teas. You pay by the amount you want but be careful it can get pricey. They have teas to test around the store. Really helpful staff can be a bit pushy to sell at times. They often have sales on different things through out the store. I just got a tea tumbler with infusior for 50% off. Great for tea on the go! Check out their smartphone app as well.

I don’t like tea… Or at least I didn’t! I was lured in by a cute girl who offered a sample. This is a quite nice part, as they have lots of fresh samples around the store to try. I found myself liking a lot of the more herbal, fruity teas without the signature tea after-taste. The service is great. It feels like you’re in an upscale place — kind of like I do when I take my S2000 for a spin with the top down and play classical music. They have a wall of teas with varying prices. They open them up for you to get a smell and tell you all about them. They’re impressively knowledgable, and make good recommendations based on what you like from the samples. They even mix teas to make your own unique blend — which is what I left with on my first visit. By the way, the very outermost sample that’s almost outside the store is youthberry, and is my fav. Even if I’m not buying, I catch a taste each time I walk by without too much hard-selling. They take more of the info route vs the hard sell, which is just what I like to see in a store. They sell pretty much anything you couldnthink of tea-wise. If you know your stuff, you can likely leave with a bag of tea. But check out their tins. I found a nice deep red one that matches my kitchen accent color perfectly. Others are more plain or emblazon the teavana logo. They usually have some nice ones on deep clearance, so being the bargain shopper that I am, I’d look for that section for tins or glasses first. I left spending a decent amount of money(at least for me), but I was totally equipped to make some awesome tea. I probably couldn’t have on my own at home without some guidance that they gave me. Since then, I’ve come back for tea/tins, and think I may get some family members awesome tea for Christmas. By the way, it’s not advertized like Starbucks, but I think you can order a simple cup(good size) if you are unsure, or just want your tea right then. It wont boost you with tons of sugar and caffeine like the aforementioned store, but ask them about the more natural picker-uppers. I think one is called Macha(at least it sounds like that). It’s a little like adding wheat grass to a smoothie, but doesn’t taste as bad or strong. Lots to say for a little store… But let me know if you agree after you stop in. BTW, I have it on good authority that the cute girl in mention usually works on Monday/Friday. I don’t know if names are appropriate, but I can say she knows her stuff. I discovered that they have a cool iPhone app that I haven’t fully explored, but it does play soothing music as you use their timer, and… Just check it out. It’s free and neat. Happy steeping!

You’re first lured in by the tantalizing aromas. Then, the samples keep coming and coming. And then, when you’re high on that mixture of Youthberry White Tea and Wild Orange Blossom Herbal Tea-they GOTYOU. These salespeople are a liiiitle pushy and it’s a liiiitle expensive, but I forgive them because they are quite knowledgeable and their tea is sooooo darn tasty. Even hubs, who is all«pshaw» about tea likes this place and their goods. It’s just a beautiful little tea shop that encourages you(me) to spend more $ on tea products than you(I) ever have.
