This was originally a sandwich shop, and the sandwiches are good here. But we come here for the Phở. Oh yes, the Phở. And it is fantastic! I’ve been all over the world and I’ve had Phở in each of the countries, this is the real deal! Highly recommend the food here. Even if you haven’t had phở, go for the sandwiches, also delicious!

The best place to go to eat in Altavista for a small town would recommend this place to everyone. The food is very good you will enjoy coming here as much as I do.

Cohoes, NY
We stopped here while driving up to Lynchburg and it was the best choice ever. They offer smoothies, soups, sandwiches, a salad bar, and the BEST PHO I have ever had. We split an order of the beef brisket phở and egg rolls. The egg rolls we hand made and his wife’s family recipe. This place will be on the list for the next time we are driving through the area.

I’ve had a lot of phở in my life. In Richmond, DC, Denver, California, NYC. I have to say, this is some of the best phở I’ve ever had. The brother was super rich but not greasy like you find in some places. The spices were balanced just right, without too much star of anise like you often find in Richmond establishments. The cuts of meat were fantastic and overall, for the price, it was fantastic. The service was top notch, super excited to talk about their business, cooking and all manner of things. I cannot recommend this gem of a place enough. Live in Lynchburg, Danville, Bedford, etc. Totally worth the drive.
