King Birch Motor Lodge

Another reviewer states there are new flat screens in the rooms and there is wifi. Either they were purchased after my stay or it depends on which room you get.

First off let me start by saying Jimmy E. s review is wrong. My family and I stayed there this past weekend. The lodge absolutely has wifi. I have TMobile so yes my cell service was nill in almost all of New Hampshire. My husband who has AT&T did have cell service the entire time we were there. Next is yes they do have flat screen tvs. Our room had a great one. Next is he was starving? The town is about 5 min away, with a few places that were open till at least 10pm and the great tasting Chinese restaurant is open till 1am.
Secondly Ill start off by saying this place isn’t the Ritz. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel in a hot spot, this place is not it. Nor is the majority of other hotels in quiet NH. But if you are looking for a comfortable relaxing place off the beaten path then this is the place.
It is located right on the lake, with beautiful mountain views. You can take a dip in the lake or enjoy the deck overlooking the water. Or grill up a few burgers on the gas grills.
The rooms are very comfy and ours was on the larger side. We had a full kitchen and good sized refrigerator.
To sum it up, if you are looking for a quiet place to get away this place is it. We will definitely be returning :)
