I like just wandering around here looking at all the unique items for sale. Some are expensive and some are fairly priced. The place is big and it takes a bit to walk through and see everything.

This is a store that has antique booths in it but it has other crafty booths as well. It kind of has a yard sale feel. There was a booth that had tons of old toys that I remembered from my childhood and that was cool. It is worth dropping in because there are a lot of things to look at but I also saw some items that were overpriced. Check it out if you like a collection of random items old and new!

Alton Exchange is always interesting if you have an hour to play with. It’s a sort of flea market, antique store, arts & crafts, misc sort of place. It’s wonderful for Christmas shopping because the selection is always changing and unique. The staff of the shop are always friendly and welcoming. At checkout, they are always interested in what you’ve found and making a little small-talk. It gives the place a small-town feeling that doesn’t exist many other places. Things I’ve purchased there: — Wooden mortar and pestle — A set of early-American style cloth napkins and towels — Many antique photos — Imported Chinese candy bars(they were licorice) — A bamboo plant — A ceramic chicken head to hang dish towels on — A pocket rosary made by a local priest — Dishes for the vintage set I collect — Several beautiful hand-made Christmas ornaments — And on and on and on
