Fast Eddies is always a good time! Lives up to the hype! Crazy busy all the time though. Great outdoor patio area usually with a band.

The music is somewhat loud. you have to yell to each other. however the outdoor seating area is fantastic. it is nice with the fresh air of the outdoors and there is a covering over it so you don’t get sunburned

Wow! I wasn’t ready for how delicious the food was and the awesome prices. Went with friends and the place was packed but we were served quickly. The peel and eat shrimp were awesome and the steak on a stick was so tender it melted in your mouth. Bloody Mary’s were great and you can not beat the price. This place is well worth the drive and don’t think you will be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back again. Must be 21, sorry no children.

The food is delicious and the beer is cold, what more can you want? Also, people watching is always entertaining.

Fast Eddie’s is just the best! Be prepared to drink a lot because the food is super salty… on purpose! But the food is sooo cheap it’s awesome — I highly recommend the chic on a stick, it’s sooooo good! Seriously some of the best wings I’ve had. And the fries are pretty addicting! They always have live music which adds to the ambiance. Just such a fun place!

If you are looking for a place to get some decent cheap food, go to Fast Eddies. But if a dirty establishment bother you(I don’t mean the tables having trash on them) then don’t even bother. The new outside eating area is nice, but the sound system for the live music is extremely loud and you have to yell to the people at your table, so be prepared to come out of there with your ears ringing and a sore throat.

First thing I’ll say, if you don’t like crowds, don’t bother with all the good reviews because you won’t have a good time. It’s elbow to elbow, it’s loud, and I absolutely love it! There’s almost no time this place isn’t lined wall to wall with people from all walks of life: bikers, hipsters, Greek life, jocks, musicians, etc. all gather at this place and seem to get along. While I’m sure there have been, I’ve never seen an altercation here. This makes for the absolute best people watching and you can meet some really interesting folks. They have a lot of beer. And it’s always fresh. There’s at least four full-service bar stations throughout the place and they keep the beer and drinks coming. The food is priced very affordably, which is usually code for cheap. Not here! They have a lot of quality items, and the highlight for me are the«red hot» dogs and the Big Elwood kebabs. All the items are on the salty side, because they’d like you to stay and drink, but it doesn’t ruin the flavor. I don’t come here very often, but it’s always a treat. These guys are doing it right!

Let me just say, this kind of place isn’t really my thing. I was here for about an hour on a Saturday night at 6pm. It was busy, but not«can’t even walk» busy. The music was super loud, which I don’t like because you can’t hear anyone talk. I get having music, but does it have to be SO loud? I ordered a margarita and it was $ 9.25, which I thought was crazy expensive for a drink at this type of bar. It was definitely my only drink. BF ordered a water, which took the waitress 30 minutes to deliver because she kept forgetting it. I wouldn’t come here again. But if you really like this type of bar, then definitely try it out. There’s always something for everyone I guess.

Place was nice atmosphere, visiting from LA it was busy lunchtime has friendly staff burger was decent pickles n onions no lettuce or tomato but was good the pork kabab a different story very overcooked and over seasoned very salty but i guess the salt is what pours the drinks… Overall a pretty cool place

I have been going here a couple times a year while visiting from the east coast since the 1990’s. Last night I was disappointed to see the prices have almost doubled from what they were last May. Food and adult beverages were the same as always, great bar food only costs more.

What on earth do I need to say that people don’t know? Long line for food. $ 3 for a burger(a very decent one!) and fries. Free popcorn. Part dive bar, part frat/sorority bar, part biker joint, part truck stop, amazingly large. Can’t imagine how much $ this place rakes in.

This is definitely an(cash-only) experience. I mean, it’s a dive bar, and and it does have a mandatory drink limit, but honestly, what did you expect? The shrimp is ok, always overcooked but palatable. The burgers and fries are a surprising hit — did McDonalds fries fall off the back of the truck and end up here? And the cheeseburger is juicy, thick, and satisfying. Well vodka(what I get because I don’t drink beer) was $ 3.50, and they have a full bar otherwise. Drink service(you order the food on your own) is prompt and friendly. If you want cheap eats and a place to hang, this a good spot.

Get here early!!! Long lines. The food is pretty darn good. You do have to purchase an alcoholic beverage to order food. The atmosphere is exactly what you would think– American Bar– the shrimp are big and delicious. The burgers have that great«grill taste».

If you haven’t been, GO! This place is crazy cool. All cash so bring your greenbacks. I literally ordered everything on the menu that wasn’t seafood and all of it was incredible. Most memorable was the bratwurst they tout as being homemade. The steak kebob was hands down the best kebob I’ve ever had and some of the best steak I’ve had in a good while. The burger despite being mostly plain was awesome. Thick juicy paddy on some pretty great bread. I’m drooling right now just thinking about it. All in all everything I had was down right great and the prices are low enough to keep you driving back over to BFE to get more. The drinks were good, but I could probably drink all night and not get drunk. They were not the awesomeness that the food is, but they are still good. If you haven’t been take the drive it’s well worth it!

Good food, decent prices. Where they get you it is mandatory you buy at least one drink from the bar per person. This made me mad, I was on a road trip with my mother and she does not drink alcohol. The waitress made me buy two beers for myself and a water for my mother. We had some shrimp then hit the road. They do not accept cards, you must pay in cash only…

The wife and I love the food here. There is a bit of the Dive bar aesthetic you have to like or don’t bother. Beers are standard fare, but honestly you come for the«Big Elwood» which is an amazing beef kebob. The«Hot Chick on a Stick» is likewise very tasty; albeit salty, but it tastes amazing! There only detractor is the wait staff which is often bored, brusque and sometimes rude. But, it is after all, a bar at heart, not a 5 star restaurant. Take it for what it is, and enjoy the flavor.

As the St. Louis tradition states: «You must go to Fast Eddie’s for your 21st birthday». It’s a St. Louis thing. I’ve actually been about four times since I turned 21 for my birthday. The cool thing is you get a free T-shirt for your 21st birthday. The best times to go here is during the day during a weekday. Weekends are always packed to capacity with not much wiggle room. The service here is pretty mediocre. By the time you’re done to go home, you would have gone through five different servers. You would think having multiple servers means efficiency right? No not here. The servers aren’t very friendly or personal. It’s pretty much, «What do you want?». That turns me off a lot. The best part about the place is how cheap the food is. I personally like the Big Elwood on a stick the best. The burgers however were very dry, but I guess for a couple bucks you can’t beat it. The peeled shrimp was really good as well. They offer FREE popcorn that is incredibly salty so you buy more drinks. The drinks are pretty pricey for what it is. A beer will run you 3 – 4 bucks plus a tip for the waitress since you get a new one every drink it seems like. But a mixed drink is cheaper than a beer. How? Beer is a ripoff here. The atmosphere at Fast Eddie’s is one where you would need a big group. This is NOT a good place for a date. From the people talking and bands playing, it gets loud. You can’t hear conversations very clearly. For a group outing, it’s a fun place. It’s insane how many orders they place a day. It does take about 20 – 30 minutes for food fair warning. The patio outside is very nice but the tables are bolted down. This means a party with 5 or more people can’t sit together. Overall Fast Eddie’s is a good place to visit with friends every once in awhile. I would go two to three times a year. I give it 3 stars. The place is okay and well was below what I expected. I will be back though.

Great music from some awesome bands. Excellent hamburger & fries for a great price. Cocktail waitresses are very attentive even during the busiest times. Always a fun experience.

Fast Eddie’s Bön Air is a true dive bar with a grill. The drinks and food, are both inexpensive. If you need a cheap date, this is the place. The décor is tacky, but the ambiance is still fun. Fast Eddie’s may have waitresses, but they don’t do food. They only do drinks. If you want something to eat, it is a simple process. Go to the grill counter and order it yourself. It’s a short wait and then you return to table and enjoy your eats with cheap drinks that the waitress will bring to you. After a fun-filled day in Grafton and driving the scenic River-road, we thought it would be a fun ending to our adventurous day. We arrived late in the afternoon, so the crowd was small. We selected a hightop with a good view of the large room, because when at Fast Eddie’s people watching is one of the highlights. We ordered a couple of ice cold beers from our waitress, who reminded me of Flo on the old TV show Alice. When we tried to order food, she snapped at us in true Flo style that we had to do that ourselves. As I waited for the beers, Norma worked her way over to the«grill counter» and ordered us up some snacks. We munched on a Big Elwood on a Stick which is marinated tenderloin with peppers. The tenderloin does not melt in your mouth, it’s a little chewy. What do you expect for the cheap price? We also shared a basket full of French Fries, that were crisp and enough for two. The fries were the perfect accompaniment to our ½ lb. Fat Eddie Burgers. Their website says it is the tastiest burger I’ll ever eat. I wouldn’t go that far, but it is better then a burger at McDonald’s. Fast Eddie’s is a hoot. When you go, don’t expect much and you wont be disappointed and you’ll have fun.
