Pellegrine’s Lounge

This place is completely disgusting. Dark, dirty, and ranks of cigarette smoke. Don’t even make it an option.

Awful, awful, awful. Went there with a valid coupon from a charitable organization and they would not honor it saying they had a lawsuit against the company for fraudulently putting the coupon in the book. I called the company and they assure that Pellegrines signed a valid contract but just wouldn’t honor it. They have had several complaints about the same issue. DON’T GO THERE EVER

Pathetic place! Was once a great bar for food AND drinks, and even entertainment. But now you can’t even get a good bottle of beer at a decent price. The original owner’s son has flat out ruined this place. Dirty, disgusting, over priced, lousy service, lousy food. That about sums it up. Where the hell is Bar Rescue when they’re needed!!!

What I don’t understand about this joint is why do they always have a cover? I’m not in town often, but when I am I don’t have many choices of places to go, so every once in a while we end up at Pelly’s. And EVERYTIME we do we have to cough up five bucks. FOR WHAT? Some one please explain to me why am I paying a cover. What services are you providing besides a dirty «lounge» with awkward bartenders.
What makes them awkward you ask. THERE WAS A BABY IN HER ARMS THE ENTIRE TIME. That is not normal my friends, not normal at all. My cousins and I sat there and watched in disbelief as bottles were being prepared and baby’s being fed. There has to be some social service law against that.
All that being said, if there was no cover ever I would maybe give three stars, but if I didn’t always go with amazing people and seem to laugh a lot while I’m there it would get one star. So I’m content with meeting in the middle with a 2 star rating.

I went with some friends to see WithOut Zerb last night. The band was good, but Pellegrine’s Lounge left a lot to be desired.
The waitress totally ignored us all night. I finally had to go to the bar to order all our food and drinks, and it took about an hour to get our food.
And the Drinks! UGH, the horrible drinks! There’s this Asian-​looking woman bartender who waters down all the mixed drinks, which cost $ 8 a pop! That’s ridiculously expensive for a cup of ice and a smidge of tequila. And she didn’t even know what some of the drinks were that I asked for.
Between the negligent waitresses and the incompetent bartender, I don’t think I’ll ever return to Pellegrine’s Lounge. Or if I do have to go back, I’ll make sure to eat dinner somewhere else and only drink something simple that can’t be screwed up… like bottled beer.
On a high note, the best part of the bar is that mostly old ladies hang out there, which made my friends and me feel better about ourselves because we didn’t have to see any young pretty competition.
