Nice little place with good chicken fried steak and home style sides. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Its worth stopping in for country fare. I really liked the potatoe pancakes! Fried Squash is frozen but good. The yeast rolls were good but reheated.

We had chicken tenderloins and chicken fried steak. Only one other table had people and the waitress said she would bring our salads but she was busy talking so she didn’t bring our salads to us until the cook hollered order up. Food was good and price was very good but service was poor.

Meh. It’s early March, very cold outside… and it’s FREEZING in here! Décor is typical«rural diner», complete with Home Interiors wall hangings and… once again, the completely overused license plates! Stop it already! I asked about the liver and onions. Its deep fried. Why can’t these places learn that liver should be GRILLED? Ordered a club sandwich with potato pancakes. Sandwich was very average. Potato pancakes were obviously packaged, frozen… but were actually pretty good. Ordered coconut cream pie… my very favorite. They didn’t have any pie… at all! Waitress said«they just didn’t make any pies today». Service was good. Price was reasonable. Won’t be back.

Burgers are good and the chef salad is giant. The service is ok. I wouldn’t drive from the other side of town to eat here but it is ok.

Great local hole in the wall kind of place. You can see the locals sitting at most of the tables. Down home feeling. Great food. Good sizes menu with everything you would expect on the menu of a local café: chicken fried steak, eggs, grits, meat loaf, pies, cheeseburgers and more.

Lots of specials. Both wife and I had fish. Fried to perfection. She had corn nuggets, rare find and loved them. Salad with what she said was great homemade honey mustard. Rolls straight from the oven. My sides were squash, which was not quite to my liking(though it is never cooked to my liking unless my wife cooks it) but they did give it a great effort. My wife finished off my squash which was a bit overcooked for her liking, but she prefers squash to be steamed or something whereas I like my squash to be caramelized. The potato pancakes, my other side, were delicious. We skipped desert though they had several pies and cobblers. I’ll eat here again!
