Very disappointed in customer service. Le was excellent with my pedicure on Wednesday [no appointment ]. Next day, with appointment, she was busy and i was asked to wait 15 – 20 min. After 10 minutes, I left. She still had another 10+ minutes on the pedi she was working on. I was really disappointed and drove to Galveston. The give excellent customer service. Appointments don’t mean much at Mimis

This place is horrible, dirty and terrible customer service!!! I waited almost 2 hours and still couldn’t get anything done when they told it would only be a 45min wait. Ended up leaving. Don’t waste your time going to this shitty nail salon.

Do not go here ! The salon was nasty inside, I originally went in for a pedi-​mani but because they were understaffed I settled on just a manicure which was half assed. I had high hopes that the area had finally gotten a decent nail salon just to be disappointed.

WARNING — stay away from this place unless you want trauma. The place is dirty, congested and the ladies don’t know anything about nails. One girl put my acrylic on so thick it looked like a bird sh** on my finger !! After I spoke up and told them let me leave the bigger lady kept grabbing me and said «no I do for you» I said I just want to go. Then she made the nails so long and so thin they broke the next day. The issue here is technique and listening and they have neither !!! Look at the cuts on my cuticle. It was like that on 4 fingers and severe pain. This encounter traumatized me and enraged me !!!

My stepdaughter and I enjoy the service at Mimi’s. You have to take time for a visit since they usually have a wait. They do have TV, free drinks and some snacks. They have a large selection of regular polish as well as gel polish. Some techs are better than others so get to know which one is right for you. Always a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
