only ever had their crawfish and we normally get em and go. prices are steep. but the bugs are normally large(very few dead ones) and if they cook, we’re NEVER disappointed! the new staff this year 2016 is the best it’s been in a while. thank goodness! cause when i’m paying that much, you better smile! keep up the good work Tommaso’s!

We were there for two hours! We waited 15 mins before we got up and got our own menus. Drinks took 15 mins to get out to us, and they were disgusting, very flat. Our order was very simple, no extras just very straightforward and it took at least an hour to come out. The food was ok, we were hungry at that point and didn’t care. Then we were waiting 30 mins or so and finally got the check and it was completely wrong! Finally my husband got up after waiting another 15 mins for him to bring the check back. So needless to say we won’t be going back!

Tonight we got a large pepperoni pizza and the bottom was burnt to a crisp/black. We love the pizza from here and hope they can correct this issue. The last time we ordered it was edible but very close to burnt.

Every person working there was all over the place. The staff and regulars made me feel very uneasy. I won’t be going back.

Horrible! Family went here for dinner Tuesday evening around 5 – 6PM. Walk in and its a old restaurant, I get it. We were looking for something different and have been pleasantly surprised with some places in Alvin. This is not one of them. We ordered our drinks and some apps. Bruschetta was horrible. It is bread with pesto and a sliced tomato heated then served. I am used to some sliced toasted bread with olive oil and fresh diced tomato, fresh basil with oregano and balsamic vinegar… Not the case. Wife ordered pasta. Fettucini swimming in sauce. I had the trio and again it was lasagna, manicotti and cannelloni in a baking dish covered on store bought sauce. The most disgusting food we have encountered in a while. I don’t usually write reviews but this is a buyer beware tip. We spent $ 70 and felt we did not get the bang for our buck. Will never ever go back to this place. Olive garden is a few mile down the road. Not saying that’s the best by all means, but at least you know what you’re getting.

The absolute worst«pizza» I have ever had. The crust was too thick and doughy and undercooked. The sauce was horrendous and they pour some oil/spice mixture all over the pizza that makes it too salty, oily and flat out disgusting.

Amaze balls! Came in based of reviews and was not disappointed. From fried shrimp to crawfish to the pizza(yes I tried all don’t judge) it was all absolutely divine! Prices were on point as well.

I sure wanted to like this place. It had a small town feel to it and a nice looking menu. I ordered some fettuccine Alfredo that came with a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar had some iceberg lettuce, watery ranch dressing, a couple of toppings and flies everywhere. The fettuccine treated like it had been stored in the fridge. It definitely want fresh and had an off taste. My husband’s got the chicken fried steak but it was a frozen patty that had been heated. In his words, «It sucked. « I was hoping this place would be great. It’s been here for so long! Love the outdoor area. But the food is just terrible. Sorry.

Waitress didn’t write down pizza order and ended up with the wrong pizza when it FINALLY arrived at table. Worst waitress service ever. Service was slow and no real apology for getting order wrong. Will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

husband and I drive out for dinner, he says he wants a burger, I want crawfish, we decide to try this restaurant even though we were actually headed somewhere else, the service was ok, not problems there, but he admitted he hated the burger, it took a very long time to come out to the table, I was almost done with my crawfish… which were good so I feel bad for him, he will not go back for a burger at an Italian pizza place. and I wish they had fresh seafood, not frozen, I can certainly taste the difference in the calamari…

First trip here on a very rainy Saturday afternoon. not very busy very slow service. Italian sausage sandwiches made with sliced Italian sausage. After growing up in Chicago this just doesn’t cut it. tiny amount of french fries frozen and fried not completely done in the center. Men’s restroom really reeked of urine. Don’t think I’ll be trying it again.

Enjoyed a fantastic date night with the hubs Saturday and was dying to try more of their great food, we took our kiddo the following Wednesday. The oysters on the ½ shell are the best I’ve ever had because they’re clean. The buffalo shrimp is so yummy I couldn’t stop eating them even though my mouth was on fire. The portion was so generous, my hubby and I shared. My kiddo had a pizza and was in Heaven. He said Tomaso’s is his new favorite pizza joint. I had a calzone the second visit. I’m so glad I ordered a small because it was freakin’ huge! My hubby had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. He devoured it. It was so good we had to force ourselves to stop eating. The servers are super nice too and very accommodating. I love supporting family owned businesses, and I’m thrilled this little gem didn’t disappoint.

Went this past weekend. Food was great, service was good. Server could have been better but she had a baby and was only back a couple days. She was still on it once reminded. Much better than it was 2 years ago!!!

Another great dinner! The guys shared a large meat lovers pizza and it was delicious. The hand tossed crust was perfect. Mother in law had the fried shrimp and loved it. I had the California Pasta with Shrimp and it was so full of flavor! Penne pasta with a butter garlic sauce, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and lots of shrimp. Yum! We were all very impressed and satisfied with our meals.

Ok well here comes an honest review. Terrible pizza !!! I tried this place 2 times to make sure and it was not good either visit. Let’s first start off with the use the hottest pepperoni I’ve EVER had. That may be good for some but for those of us who do not like spicy it’s bad. We didn’t even get a warning and were not even offered any other non spicy option. Now let’s talk about the crust. I ordered«deep dish» which should be thick, crusty and with those yummy crispy, burnt cheese edges we love. This alleged«deep dish» was doughy, thin, and skimpy. The crust was too dark on the bottom and too gummy at the top. A true deep dish should be consistent throughout and a regular pizza would have the different textures. The cheese was not evenly distributed and the other toppings were undercooked. The only reason this is not a one star is the staff was somewhat friendly. I always try to find one positive thing and I can say the sauce on the pizza was pretty good but not enough to save them. Really wish I could say better but I can’t it was pretty bad…

This review tears me in half. I like the pizza here… and I’ve had 5lbs of crawfish here before… it was awsome!!! But I showed up one evening for the crawfish with a friend, so we ordered 3lbs each… the waitress showed up with a small stainless steel bowl that had about 1 ½ pounds in it… we argued but got nowhere… we got ripped off for sure. So even if I like their pizza… I don’t like getting one put over on me… so I’ll pass! If you go for the crawfish… bring your scale!!!

I moved to Alvin in 1997, 17 years ago. I ate here one time then, it was dirty and the food was gross. My daughter wanted crawfish so after a google search and promise of crawfish from Tommaso’s website, against better judgment we went. Big suprise no crawfish, false advertising and then on top of that, the olives on the salad bar tasted like mold. We told out server and she said we were not the first to complain about the olives and that the owner bought them from a buddy who’s restaurant was going out of business and got a really good deal! It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. This place will now, and forever, remain on our DONOTPATRONIZE places. Gross!

This place was pretty disgusting. The salad bar was a joke and completely unsanitary. I refuse to eat here again. Sad, cause I really had high hopes for this place.

The best pizza in Texas. These guys make a Sicilian pizza that is just amazing! This old twice baked family recipe is a huge square pizza with plenty of everything. The crust is perfect, sauce is amazing and the toppings are always top notch. One thing that stands out for me is the bacon they use. Large chunk bacon that adds TONS of flavor!!! This establishment has been in Alvin since the 70’s(I think) and is now run by the son of the original owner. Get a few friends and order a Sicilian supreme pizza, you will not be sorry!!! One thing– since they have to bake this thing twice it will take nearly 30Min. to get, so be prepared to wait.

Best pizza in ALLOFALVIN. Not the world, just Alvin. But Alvin is completely commercial and fast food so being homemade already puts you above the rest. There is a fish buffet and other various dishes all pretty great, I’m just not wowed.
