Good spot for a morning meeting, iced coffee or chocolate croissant. Service is kind and fast and prices are beach inflated but not terrible.

We love Fonville Press. Everyone is so friendly and they make great coffee. Comfortable environment to relax, visit with friends or work (we spend a lot of mornings there on our computers). One of the few local places that stays open all seasons. We know the off season is slow and appreciate the commitment to the local customers.

My favorite coffee shop on 30A! The reason it’s so great is the service– it knocks Amavida out of the park. The line always moves quickly and the staff are super friendly. They have yummy pastries and several types of smoothies. The outdoor seating is great too and there are ample parking spaces.

Hands-​down, the best cappucchino on 30A. Smooth, frothy whipped milk as creamy as in Italy. And the owner and staff are A+. No, I was not paid to write this excellent review!

We stopped here for coffee almost every morning we were in the area. The shop has parking behind it (a huge plus during busy season) and Alys Beach is just a cool place to enjoy a coffee. Iced coffee was good but did not seem terribly strong. There is some food available and I heard good things about the plain/​chocolate croissants. I didn’t care for the ham and cheese croissant — it’s pretty devoid of both ingredients :(
There is some indoor seating and a great patio area outside. Very pretty building and surrounding areas!

Cute little spot to pop in for a light breakfast or lunch. The curry chicken salad wrap hit the spot on a hot day.

It was a cute little coffee shop. The vanilla latte was excellent, and their muffins were very good also. Fun place to have breakfast.

When I first started coming here more than four years ago, it was worth the drive for coffee because a good cup of espresso on 30A is hard to find and that is an understatement. The gentleman who ran the place seemed to serve a consistent worthy espresso product. However, yesterday, our group all agreed that we experienced the worst tasting, most bitter espresso drinks that we have ever had in Northwest Florida! I think this was another new guy but really, no excuse for how the drinks tasted. Over the last two months, we have been here three times. Each time, there has been someone different making coffee (all tasted poor but yesterday was horrid!). None of these individuals were the person who I recall managing/​making coffee here in the distant past. Because I really hope that honest feedback leads to promising changes, I suggest the following for ownership/​management: 1) Please taste the product you are serving. Had you done this yesterday, I would not be writing this review. 2) Please consider bringing in a coffee expert (if you have none) to train your staff, the barista incompetence is glaring. 3) Bring up the standards of your coffee because to promote this business as the Alys Beach «town café» and serve this yuck is a shame for this otherwise amazing community. I brought up my zero starts to two because the atmosphere and other items in this establishment are otherwise worth stopping for.

Such a cool place!!! Biked here with my friend and had by far the best iced chai tea I’ve ever had! An awesome treat after our workout :)

Amazing Décor, Friendly Staff
If you are in the Alys Beach area and want a nice place to stop and relax, then Fonville Press is the place for you. My family and I went on I bike ride during a vacation, and after many miles of traveling we were ready for a small stop. Fonville Press caught our interest, and we headed in. The architecture of the building is fascinating, and the decoration of the the interior and exterior courtyard was charming. Not being coffee drinkers, my family got lemonade and coke. The staff was very friendly, and gave us cups of ice to pour our drinks into. We sat outside, and loved relaxing in the sun.
I give Fonville Press five stars because it is a beautiful place to sit and relax with a drink.

We came on a rainy day and so might have missed what many have raved about regarding Fonville Press. The nice cushy sitting area is outside (in an enclosed patio area where the rain hits the cushions). Because of the cooler temperatures, we opted for hot drinks over iced coffee. So we missed the comfy seating and iced coffee.
The place is very clean and has nice architectural lines. Books lining the wall added warmth to the place and made for amusing conversation starters. Staff was polite. Hot chocolate with almond milk was pronounced good by my husband. Decaf Americano was weak with no crema but they do have mugs instead of paper cups! The music was annoying for a pleasant atmosphere but the hard inside seating options were also not for relaxed coffee drinking.
Nondairy milk options: Soy and Almond – neither of which I think taste good with coffee but that is just my preference and I like to know which are available – that’s why I’m bothering telling you so. :)

The perfect coffee shop! It has killer architecture, great atmosphere, and amazing iced coffee. Not to be missed!

The most lovely coffee shop I’ve ever been to, in the loveliest part of 30A.
Coffee is superior, whether iced or a latte.
Always very quiet. Plush seating areas. Great service.
We go pretty much every day that we are at the beach and wish we could go pretty much every day we aren’t.

Such a chic, lovely place to visit. Who doesn’t love a joint that carries both alcohol AND coffee… oh, and place for your kiddos to go crazy while you sip some wine.

We’ve been here many times for coffee, snacks, and newspapers. They carry a variety of coffee, alcoholic and other drinks as well as pastries and gourmet packaged food. The shop is attached to an idyllic patio garden with fountains. It’s a lovely place to sit (as well as a great backdrop with good light for photographs!) Next door is a unique playground for the kiddos.

Love this place ! What a perfect place to grab a morning coffee and plan the day.
