It used to be Mt Fuji, and that was super successful and always packed. The new owners probably should not have changed a thing. They changed the menu and the décor, and lost most of the customers. As Mt Fuji it was a real local hangout. After a real false start, and a suburban look, they have finally revamped the décor this past June. Still big and open. Still not really a Hamptons place. they have another place in Northport I think. But the food is good and the prices are a little more reasonable then they had been. And the service had definitely improved. I eat here almost once a week.

We went during the early summer and this place was almost as dead as a doornail, seems more like the kind of place you’d find out in the suburbs(really big, kind of generic but clean ambience). That said the food was good, totally consistent across all orders. Service was good although not particuarly personable. We would go back.
