There are a lot of awesome little places in this area but if you want the most amazing Hot Chocolate ever, you’ve got to try theirs! Hot chocolate is definitely a must try! — it has a very rich taste to it and is better than anything I’ve ever had before! They warm it to the perfect temperature where it’s not too hot and warmer than lukewarm. It’s just absolutely perfection! They usually offer some samples — I tried their fudge and it was awesome! They have a ton of variety and I’d highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

Everytime we go to The Amana Colonies we make the Chocolate Haus a priority stop. The fudge is amazing and the Carmel is to die for! The staff is always friendly and don’t mind answering questions. It’s also fun to watch them making various chocolates or working on tasks at the viewing area. I would recommend making a stop here on your next trip to The Amana Colonies.

The cutest little chocolate shop I’ve have seen in years! The place smells SOO good. Like chocolate. And caramel. Yum! We were greeted by some friendly ladies and we drooled over their chocolate displays. So many tempting options! I got a few coconut clusters and cashew turtles. They have a barista whipping up custom coffee drinks, too. We did not indulge in a tasty beverage, but definitely keep that in mind while strolling along the main drag in Amana!

I’ve been here about a half-dozen times and I never leave empty-handed. They have a huge selection; candies, desserts, drinks, old-time candy favorites, etc. Prices are fair and you can choose chocolates by the piece(if you’re like me and want to try a little bit of everything). I’ve always experienced good customer service, but I know that the shop can be extremely busy, especially around the holidays. I wouldn’t describe the candy as the best chocolate I’ve ever had, but it is delicious. I recommend visiting during the week(Mon.-Fri.) if you can. :)

Our visit was pleasant and we were greeted by a friendly person as we walked in. We had been here before and wanted to try something new. The chocolate creams we bought(maple nut, lemon, and orange) weren’t to my liking. They had an artificial taste to them. Now someone else tasting them may not experience the same thing. I’m picky when it comes to chocolate. I also had a caramel frappechino and it was delicious. It could have been blended better to break up the ice. We bought fudge also and it was very good. This place is definately worth the visit.

This was an awesome little chocolate shop! All the chocolates seemed home made and were very tasty! In particular the chocolate dipped espresso beans. The chocolate though is ‘conventional’ when it comes to what flavors they use. No chilies, jalapeño, basil infused chocolate pieces here just your ‘typical’ kind of selection but sooo worth it! I did have a slight issue though. The staff there seems not eager to acknowledge customer’s presence or customers coming in. They did not ask if I needed anything. I was just left to wonder. They were very transfixed with filling bags full of chocolates in front of me so they did see me. Almost reminds me of a Stepford Wife. When I finally did make my choices for what I wanted in the case though and told them I was ready to buy something they were very friendly and professional… just that one little hang up of interacting with the customers was a bit strange.
