ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Even though very busy all wait stations worked effortlessly and hot people thru the line and the food was excellent! I am from Washington State and we do not have this great restaurant. Yes it is fast food but with class. The meal was tasty, service was excellent and everyone working very friendly. I wish I could take you home with me.

There isn’t much to say honestly. It’s like any other Chick-​fil-​A. The food is the great, and service excellent, and despite being packed almost all day it is quick. The dinning area is clean too. It’s just Chick-​fil-​A but this one really shines.

Great for a celiac — dedicated dryer for the fries and grilled nuggets, oh yeah!

I really love chick-fil-A…love love love. We were traveling through Amarillo and decided to stop and grab a «quick» lunch before pressing on. In defense of this branch it was INSANE busy. Lines were outrageously long and the place was packed. Obviously, this is a tough situation. On the other hand, the young lady that took my order didn’t speak English very well, she didn’t know the menu, and she made several mistakes… no big deal. Other members of the team were walking around aimlessly and accomplishing very little… in the midst of chaos. The entire place was, well, filthy. Just dirt and grime everywhere. The paper towel dispenser in the bathroom was only half hanging and empty, etc… It just felt like this Chick-​fil-​A let the corporate standards go in the wake of being busy. I’m giving three stars in hopes that this crazy day was just a blip on the radar of excellence. Fingers crossed.

The guy helping us could not possibly have been nicer and more helpful. Says on the receipt his name was Seth, so give that kid a cow-​toned medal and a lemonade…

By far the best Chik fil A in town. Staff is always kind and helpful. Store is always clean.

While on vacation we stopped at this location around 2:30pm, this the dirtiest chick-​fil-​A I have ever been in. Nothing was wiped down or cleaned off. The windows had not been cleaned in several months, but the worst thing of all, was over 100 flies in the restaurant, they were on everything. A dirty cell phone sat on the counter where they package up your food. When I asked for the manager I was told he only comes in a few hours in the morning and when I asked for the assistant manager I was told he was not there either a team leader was running the restaurant who could not have been over 17 years old. No condiments were out, it was obvious they were running this restaurant on a shoe string. We will never stop here again, and there are several good restaurants right up the street so why not go there instead. Just say no.

Dirtiest chick fil a ever!!! Traveling through Amarillo and thought this was a safe bet as I’ve never had a bad experience at any chick fil a! French fries tastes stale and old… asked for replacement thinking it was just that batch, nope! Don’t think they’ve EVER cleaned the children’s play area before! It’s covered in dirt/​crumbs and seems to be the storage room for all old signs/boxes…disappointed and grossed out!

My family really likes chick fil a, but this particular location is always packed, at first i thought it was because of their great food (which it is) but I’m starting to believe that the reason they’re always packed is because of their disorganized service. I ordered my food, was very clear on my order, was not given a receipt, and gave me an incomplete order as well as incorrect. When i requested that i be given the correct size frosted lemonade i was surprised to hear the attendants response «it’s not that much bigger than what i have you», of i was charged for a larger size then i want the larger size. When i got back from correcting the drink offsite i came to suit down only to realize we did not receive the my kids nuggets, when i went to request them i was asked for a receipt (which is understandable but did not receive one) after i explained that i hadn’t received one i was given the missing piece of the order… reluctantly. When i was finally able to sit to ready with my family i realized that we were not given the size fries we requested at which point i decided not to dispute my order for a third time but rather write this review. It still gets three stars cause the does tastes great.

Extremely slow… very eclectic, loose, distracted staff… not exactly sure if my ‘sweet tea’ is sweet… I’m from the Dallas area and this location definitely does not compare to the ones around home…

Easy and quick access off the I-​40 freeway if you are passing through town. As expected from all Chic fil-a’s, kind and speedy staff as well even though busy.

A great place to take the kids. The place is always busy but they are always prepared. The kids have s blast and love to trade the toy in for the ice cream. The salads are amazing and the spicy sandwich is a personal favorite. The chicken is awesome in anything. Great place and great service.

The food is always good, but the customer service is GREAT! They are always fast and extremely friendly. There is a reason they are always incredibly busy!

This chick-​fil-​a goes out of their way to provide SUPERIOR service to guests.
Saturday, I stopped by for my daughter & neice, the drive up was crazy busy so we parked & went in to order to-​go. We ordered & the guy that brought out our food was AMAZING! I don’t remember his name because he said his nametag was wrong, maybe Matt?
He walked us out & carried our food for us. He complimented & spoke to my 3 year old daughter all the way to our car. When we got the the car, he opened the doors & put the food in the passenger side & then walked all the way back around to open my door for me! I could not say «Thank you» enough times.
Whoever is training the staff at chick-​fil-​a deserves a medal! The fast food industry is not the only business that could stand to learn a few things from the way things are done at this restaurant. Well done, chick-​fil-​a. Keep up the good work!

WOW. Hubby and I are traveling to San Diego for Christmas.. stopped here for lunch. Yikes! the drive thru line was backed up into the street! ! It was extremely packed! We decided to go in, even though that was the case.. had our heart set on that sandwich! Long line inside.. But it went really qui

We went and sat down, in not even a minute, here comes our food! It was hot. It was SO DELICIOUS!
The whole time we were eating, the drive thru never once stopped, it was constant people! I am just amazed by how this chik-​fil-​a operated with non stop customers and their food was on point! Kudos to all y’all working at this location on this December 20! Y’all deserve a raise! We’ll be stopping back on the return trip for sure! !

I really like Chick-​Fil-​A in general, but this is a particularly nice one. Even with long lines, they still get you through quickly, and get your order RIGHT and fresh. They are really polite and nice, and genuinely so (not just doing what the company tells them to say).
This one seems particularly popular, and thus is well-​maintained and clean.

Always great service. After going here during different times of the day I realized just how busy it gets. If you go inside it normally doesn’t take long to get your order. Just stay away from the 25 car long drive thru line.
The spicy chicken sandwich and lemonade are my absolute favorites, along with some chic-​fil-​a sauce.
The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5… Every employee has to say «my pleasure» after you say thanks. It gets annoying after hearing the same thing year after year.

Since writing my original review the owner of this Chick-​Fil-​A location reached out to me, and it’s very clear he wants his Free Standing Unit to be one of Chick-Fil-A’s best. He understands the parking lot is tight and he’s working on trying to make some improvements. And he will be adjusting some training promptly to immediately improve the customer experience along with making some other changes.
In the interest of full disclosure he offered to send me free meal coupons, and it was tempting. But in the end all I wanted was to know the next time I get to Amarillo… and I fully intend to go back, that I can stop at this Chick-​Fil-​A and have a great spicy chicken sandwich in a clean location with great service. And that’s all I can ask for.
Star count bump to 4. Nobody’s perfect, but if you’re trying that is always worthy of being recognized!

If you are going to chick fil a in Amarillo, make sure you make it this one. They are by a long shot the fastest running a well oiled machine to get you thru fast even during lunch rush. The food was always fresh and hot every time I went there. They constantly have servers go through offering to get you drinks or take trays. A lot better than my experience of chick fil a at the mall

Clean, comfortable and courteous. Despite a big lunchtime crowd (an indication of how good this place is), the wait was reasonable as the staff hustled to move things along fast. Chick-​Fil-​A is a class act. Great for kids and adults. Spotless tables, restrooms, and fresh flowers. Awesome dining experience!
