If all you want to do is meet up with some friends and drink a little wine, then by all means check out this place. The atmosphere is open and inviting enough, and there are plenty of different house wines to try. The staff is friendly and seating is abundant. A quick peek through an open door revealed the winery in action. Forget about oak barrels; there’s nothing but plastic back there. This is wine production for the masses, a fact that is reflected in the quality of the wines. I’ve created better back in college using stolen apples, a borrowed carboy, and a latex glove. Keep that in mind if you decide to bottle your own through them. However, I must give credit to D’vine Wine for their relaxed atmosphere and casual attitude. The intimidating snobbery so common to the wine culture has no doubt discouraged many from taking an interest in wine. Not so here. While their offerings are far from noteworthy, for those curious about trying different types of wines in an easygoing atmosphere, it’s certainly a comfortable place to get your taste buds wet before going somewhere a bit more serious, like Crush.
